Yes, Lakshmi is dead - well, that is what has been shown! Ab aage kya hoga...sirf writers jaante hain ;)
But Lakshmi died while giving birth to her daughter, Jiana. And now there is Lakshmi's humshakal (duplicate) Kanchi. Jiana and Bua ji want to bring Kanchi into Arjun's life...and now Arjun has come face to face with this duplicate...ab aage dekhte hain ke kya hota hai.

Jany , you can also refer to superhit bollywood movies like K3G , KKHH , a bit of Ghajini , Agar Tum Na Hote etc ..
