The fresh breeze had blown Jazz'z unruly curled locks covering her eyes. Another night filled with lots of fun but the partying was never going to stop. The hall booked for this wondrous occasion was a big accomplishment for her friends who were lacking in the planning department and the theme was a little unimaginative. Blue skies...Yeah right more like UFO sightings...Never trust a drunk to plan a party unless U want to get wasted. Jazz crossed her legs at the poolside watching the night. She took a sip of her Black Dahlia drink and then placed her finger in the pool whirling the water around. Why couldn't she continue to remain the way she was????? Why should she conform to the ways her father had been raised???? All Jazz wanted was to be free and live her life by her accord. She wanted a career. Jazz wanted to have fun and more importantly Jazz wanted a social life with her own group of friends. Apparently this was ot good enough for her Father. No he wanted her to be completely Indian. Could she not be both but keep more of her British roots alive??? Why should she compromise her beleifs and conform to old traditions??? There was no pleasing some people, she knew her Father would continue to force his ideals on her while she'd rebel against it just to prove a point!!! As outrageous as this sounded, it gave her a sense of power and control over one aspect of her life even if it meant she was at war with her Father over this issue.
Jazz checked the time on her watch, it was past 2am, time to face the music.
