Fame 2006 Florida Concert

Hey everyone!

I went to the concert a few weeks ago and it was AMAZING! It lasted for about 5 and a half hours long (from 5:30pm-11pm) with just a short 20-min break in between. Can you believe that?

First let me tell you that I got to see Qazi, Rex, Debojit, and his wife a week in advance (before the concert)...they were passing by some indo-pak stores to promote their concert, sign autographs and such. It was really nice to meet them, get all of their autographs and take pics.

The concert...

I wish Mandira would have come because she is so damn cool...but too bad she didn't come. But its ok cuz the concert rocked BIG TIME! The host was some guy he was doing some comedy and making fun of the old time dances of actors such as dev anand, jetendra, raj kapoor..etc...it was quite funny lol. 😆

Rex sang some good songs...like sohniye from aksar, tarap tarap ke from HDDS, salam namaste (with some girl Kavita), umm also Debojit sang so many good songs like woh lamhey, ya ali from gangster...too many others. and Rex and Debojit sang kajre re together also with Kavita.

They had bollywood dancers the whole time during the concert...which was really cool. And they had some really nice dance numbers between some of the performances...like the songs from Devdas (silsila yeh chahat ka, maar daala, dola re). It was spectacular!

Qazi sang main aisa kyun hun, awaz main na dunga (old song which he sang it really beautifully), dil keh raha hai, leke pyar ki chunariya, bheege hont (I got to go up on stage during this song😃). He danced on saaki saaki, one song from rang de basanti, and dil na diya. WOW he has awesome movessssss!!! He looks so freaking HOT while dancing!!! 😳 (I wish he would have also sang some of his songs from his album Jodi No. 1 but he didn't...but it's definitely no problem cuz his performance was just fabulous!)

For at least one song each Qazi, Rex, Debojit let people come up and dance on stage. People were having a real blast lol 👏

In the end, they sang amar akbar anthony and a patriotic song too.

Then I went to the after-dinner! It was soooo nice meeting Qazi, Rex, Debojit and his wife. They were all really friendly! 😊

Overall, it was one of the best days of my life!!!! cuz it was just too much fun hehe 👏

oh yea by the way...I got home at 2:30 am from the dinner! don't worry I was with my family the whole time 😉

It seems like qazi is singing the old songs and carrying them off pretty well because i read in the SRGMP sectionm that he also sang an old song teri dosti mera pyar,again an old song and the poster said tht he sang it very well.These are old Mohd. Rafi songs and just to attempt to sing them by an untrained singer is a feat in itself 👏 👏 Even if Qazi sang 1% of what Rafi ji sang I'll give him a 10/10 👏 👏
just shows the confidence he has gained as a singer. 👏

i am still so excited about meeting Qazi that i need to share it with someone...and whats more better than sharing it with other Qazi fans hehe 😉

and yeah ani...Qazi has improved sooo much...i am so proud of him! the way he sang rafi ji's song was just amazing and commendable...he sang with so much feeling and he became very emotional ... awwww he is so adorable! 😊

i am really glad he won as the fame jodi because he truly deserved it...even though he is not a trained singer but overall he is a real SUPERSTAR! he has all these talents and skills naturally...he is lucky to be born a multi-talented person hehe 👏

some of my friends didn't want to go cuz it was a bit far from our city but i convinced them to go and they were veryyyyy happy they went! hopefully you all will get to see him too if he comes to your towns! seriously you HAVE to go see him perform live...its an amazing memory that will last a life time. 😊

Saba, thanks for sharing. Like you we too are happy for him. I had always voted 4 him. I am happy that our support for him did not go in vain and he's always striving hard to make us fans proud of him.

Hi Anita. As far as I know he sang "Chahoonga Main Tujhe" from Dosti. Mujhe lagta hai. Aap to Mod. Rafi ki big fan ho. Aap to bahot hi khush hongin. We all are really proud of him.
