Actors Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi who are working together once again in Ghanchakkar — after their last superhit The Dirty Picture — seem to be on a bonding spree while shooting for their new film. The two recently shot for a portion of the film in Trombay on a 25-day schedule and according to a unit member from the set they shared an easy camaraderie.
"The two often shared lunch along with several others present on the set including the director Rajkumar Gupta. Everyone on the sets has been having fun thanks to their great sense of humour.
We feel that they are one of the loveliest pairs to work with," shares the source, revealing that the jodi's fun off-screen chemistry translated to a sizzling one on screen.
"Vidya has only good things to say about Emraan. She was overheard talking to him about his son and wife, while Emraan too holds her in high regards as an actor. The two seemed friendlier than they were during the making of The Dirty Picture. May be having worked together already, they found it easier to connect on this set. Also while they had only intense scenes together in their first, in this one they're expected to just be naughty and fun," adds the source.
Meanwhile, the actress who's known for her professionalism, recently impressed everyone on the sets of Ghanchakkar, as she shot for the film despite running a very high fever. An insider reveals, "The actor was advised to take a day off to recuperate as she was running a high fever of 102. But Vidya insisted on completing the shoot to avoid any losses for the producer," says the insider, adding that she has now recovered completely.
It may be recalled that Vidya had earlier been hospitalised during the shoot of The Dirty Picture, when she was rushed there due to severe exhaustion. The actor's health concerns have left her family and friends worried, but she seems to be paying no heed as she reported to sets daily with no break.
