Confused, please help me...

😕Ok so i have never watched Indian Idol prior to this season; therefore, i really don't know the format of the show in terms of broadcasting. American Idol is fully LIVE, but I believe Indin Idol is filmed four days before the show is aired on television(since they always show the promo two days before the air date). So my question is then why the host asked audiences to vote till 1st sept??? In other words, why were the voting booths opened till 1st sept? (The winner ws already chosen)😕😕

I have been confused all along. There is a history of Idol being chosen ahead of the finals and he/she gets projected that way from day 1.

I am not surprised. After all for me Amit, Dev or Vipul are equally dear. Its the show organizers who I do not like at all. I watched the whole season only for Ashaji or else I wouldn't bother as much. For her comment, expressions, body language we had to go through entire episode carefully. From day 1 why would Ashaji promote Devender pal so much. If he was so good singer then she wouldn't have worried about his chances of winning. But she was told from day 1 and because she was stuck in the program, she decided to use Latadi's name to promote Devender. Reason, he is a terrific singer at the age of 17.

Earlier seasons, I would hear a singer for a first minute and forward the song only to find out that singer finally made it to top 3. There are many prospects that they shot down first off in the studio rounds itself. This is only possible when you have chosen a winer. Or else you will end up with some weak singers if carefully all the factors are not considered.

I liked these 3 singers.

I am confused too, how is it that judges and the people choose, fifty fifty? I just tune in to these shows for the singing, the rest of the politics and drama mean nothing...

Everything about this season was fake. Judges invisible scores that we never saw, Asha's obsession with her chota sardar, illogical eliminations and above all the worst abrupt climax in the finale.

Normally the 2nd runner up is announced and the winner within the top two. Here abruptly the winner was announced as if they were trying to brush it under the rug

All polls we had and saw had Amit between 55 and 65 % while the rest was between Vipul and Dev, so what happened overnight?

I am honestly disgusted with this show

Like theabove post- and another( re: Vipul's win-) I am also sorry not to see Dev and Amit get some recognition and awards. I have never watched Indian Idol before but was watching most of these episodes.Amit really was brilliant,and he had NO background and was excellent in the end. Devender Pal was consistently excellent- it appeared that Vipul would win, and he was good no doubt, but some of the awards should have been to the other two.Also I agree we should have seen the finalists-the 10 plus Poorvi at the end-

I think season 6 was a complete FLOP. They showed the promo in the UK on tuesday. And then goes The host's saying voting lines are open till the 1st when they have already filmed. Another flop was they never said 2nd and 3rd they just showed Vipul's journey and ended the show how selfish is that? Another flop was the top 10 were never shown in the grand finale in JDJ and other reality shows i.e. Survivor India the top 10 or other contestants were shown.

I've never watched season 1,2,3,4,5 But watching season 6 doesn't want me to watch them.

( No offense to anyone and im sorry if i did hurt someone. )
