While watching the reruns, I noticed how much attention had been given to every little detail in the old episodes. All the letterheads, files etc had the GM symbol on them. The staff members wore i-cards. The character of each and every member of the GM gang seemed well-defined. Where did all this go in the later episodes?

thats sooo tru hansa di...i was thinking the same thing when i saw the i-cards.....the perfect office setting was later demolished!

I think initially it was made on Offical based comic serial & perfection was there. And when the typhoon of JandA romance swept away the viewers the creator gave more effort/highlights to that part and the office part obviously been neglected. They never thought this will turn a romantic serial.

now that katiyal isnt here so the marriage did take place between ananya and nikhil in ELAS. How i wish katiyal didnt make 5th august so disgusting.

I agree completey with Meenu di: blame it on Katiyal and greed. 😡 Otherwise, Apu said in an early interview about the show that Tnd would alert him even if his tie was off-center in a shot!
