Hi guys, thank you so much for staying with me this far! I know I'm rushing to get this finished otherwise its a complete stop but am I doing alright? Lol, I don't know. For me, in my eyes I've always seen the Vadhera's as having high morals, not treating anyone like dirt without a valid reason. And this is what I tried to put in here, that not all people are bad.

Chapter Thirty Eight: Revelation

"Maanvi!" Beeji shouted out as she, Madan and Dadaji ran to see the unconscious Maanvi in Viraat's arm. "What happened?"

"She…tried…to kill herself." Viraat managed to say, not anyone take Maanvi away.

"Quick, let's take her to the hospital." Dadaji said, praying that nothing had happened to her.

"Doctor, how is she?" Viraat asked as the doctor came out from checking her. Everyone had arrived at the hospital as soon as they heard about Maanvi committing suicide. Padmini sat terrified, blaming herself for what happened to Maanvi whilst Jeevika and Siddarth pacified her. Swamini and Vanshika along with Jeevika had been praying for the well being of Manvi.

"For now, she is fine. Actually, because of the cut on her head and blood loss, she had become unconscious. Perhaps, due to stress Maanvi's plight is like this. But with some check ups and medicine she'll be fine." The doctor said.

"Doctor, can we meet her?" Beeji asked.

The doctor nodded, "Sure but try to not crowd her, she needs space." Beeji nodded and the doctor left the family to do some work.

"I'll see." Beeji said strongly, suggesting that no one else is to follow.

"Thank God she'll be fine." Vanshika said, she walked towards Viraat, "If you weren't there then I wonder what would have happened." Viraat smiled at his mother. And then remembered the last thing he said to Maanvi. He loved her. And even though Maanvi never replied back, he knew that in her heart there was a space for him, he hoped so.

"I'm just glad that Maanvi is fine. I just…" He started to get teary but was consoled by Viren.

"Don't worry, Maanvi is fine." Viren assured him.

"This is all my fault." Padmini said. "If I never said that to her, then maybe. I should have told her everything, I should have told you lot everything. But I was scared of how you'd react." She said especially to the Vadhera's.

"Padminiji, everything that happened wasn't your fault. It was all circumstances." Dadaji said. "And we're not that narrow minded that we'll shun you or Jeevika because of what happened." He sat next to Padmini and blessed her. "What you have done, and how you acted makes me respect you. No woman should ever be treated like this."

"Yes, Padminiji. We have no right to say anything bad about you, or you morals. You and Maanvi are at no fault. In fact, we are proud that Viren's sasural is you and Siddarthji." Swamini hugged Padmini.

"Beeji?" Maanvi called out as she slowly opened her eyes.

"Maanvi." She whispered.

"Where am I?" Maanvi asked, looking around the strange room.

"Hospital, you fell unconscious by the canal and Viraat brought you here." Suddenly Maanvi became wary of what Viraat said to her, I love you. She smiled. "Beeji! Where is Viraat?"

"Outside…why?"

"Beeji please, get Viraat!" Maanvi protested.

Scared of what would happen if she didn't listen to her, Beeji rushed out and called Viraat. He came in, happy that Maanvi called for him, that she wanted him.

"Maanvi!" He rushed to her side. Behind Jeevika and Viren followed. "Are you okay? You're not hurting much are you?" Viraat blabbed on.

"Shut up." Maanvi laughed. "And let me speak." She looked into his eyes and played with his hair, "I love you." She confessed.

Behind Jeevika and Viren shouted a "Yes!!" which led to a visit from everyone else.

"What happened?" Vanshika asked.

Viren and Jeevika decided to give Viraat and Maanvi privacy and told everyone to wait outside. They went out to an intrigued family.

"Finally our lovebirds confessed that they love each other." Viren said smoothly.

"Meaning?" Swamini asked.

"Meaning, Maanvi and Viraat?" Vanshika asked smiling.

Jeevika noticed Beeji troubled and went to her, "I'm sorry. I know this isn't exactly how you would like your granddaughter to be in love with, you know with what happened. But, ever since Maanvi came into our life, I found a sister in her, a sister who ended up being my real sister. And Viraat. Viraat has completely changed. He used to be confused, immature, disrespectful, but in these few moments he became someone else entirely. Beeji please, don't say no to this relationship." Beeji struggled to say anything.

"Dadaji, Badi Ma." Viren said. "I know you two are the elders of the house, but today I'm asking you that accept this relationship, our Viraat could have never found a better life partner than Maanvi."

Swamini shook her head, "I noticed it too, but I didn't think. When Viraat was with Maya, it was like he was always separated from us. And with Maanvi, I feel as if our Viraat is back." She smiled.

Viren looked towards Dadaji, "The girl who has such a strong, spirited mother, why would I not want to accept her?" He said smiling. Viren hugged his Dadaji and Swamini, happy that they didn't let the harsh truth get in the way of their principles.

Dadaji walked towards Beeji, "This is strange, from no relation to another, today I'm asking for your granddaughter's hand. Please don't refuse." Beeji stopped him.

"What are you saying? If my daughter has found herself a family like yours, why would I say no? I accept this relationship." Beeji smiled.

"So, jalebi's or laddoos?" Viren joked.

Meanwhile, in the hospital room. "You loved me back then? Why didn't you tell me?" Viraat asked as soon as Maanvi told him about her and Jeevika's conversation.

"You too loved me before I did, why didn't you tell me?" She scolded him.

"I thought you were going to leave, I was scared that you would not be mine." He said.

"I'm sorry." She whispered. "But, I'll never leave you now." She held his hand and kissed it softly.

Viraat smiled, "By the way, what do you think is happening outside?"

She thought for a bit, "I don't know. Do you think they won't accept our relationship?"

"I don't know. But I'm sure bhai and bhabhi will do something."

"Hm, but if they don't…what do we do?"

"Hm, idea!" He looked at her, and whispered in her ear, "We'll elope and get married."

"So, everyone. There's one last thing to do." Viren said.

"What?" Viraat asked.

Viren walked towards his brother and patted him in his back, "Our Viraat and Maanvi's rishta should get finalised!" Viraat grinned whilst Maanvi blushed.

"Rishta?" Dadaji questioned. "What rishta?"

"Someone tell me what is happening, kaisa rishta Viren?" Swamini said sharply.

Maanvi looked at Viraat, gulping. He took the initiative to walk forward towards his elders to speak to him. "Actually, Dadaji, Buaji. I love Maanvi. And I want to marry her. Please don't say no." He hesitated for a bit before Maanvi came and supported him.

"Yes, Dadaji. I too, love Viraat. And I'm sorry if I'm not your suitable bahu, but I'll try my best to make us proud. I promise." Maanvi begged.

Just then Swamini started laughing followed by Dadaji and the other family members. Viraat and Maanvi looked at each other confused, then realising that they have been fooled again, only this time they were both mistaken.

"Oh so. This was a plan?" Viraat said pretending to be angry.

"What can I do beta? Had to be done." Dadaji said, trying to breath before falling into a laughter fit again. "Me, Swamini and everyone had long accepted your relationship but we thought that we should listen to the truth from your mouths so we did this…"

Swamini smiled at Maanvi, "I accept you wholeheartedly, we all do, as our bahu." Maanvi hugged her and then both her and Viraat touched the feet of the elders and asked for their blessings.

"Maanvi," Padmini said softly. She walked towards her for the first time as a mother. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything, giving you up, not keeping in contact and wanting to keep away from you." She held out her hands and placed them together asking for forgiveness.

"No, please. I understand what you went through, I understand what could have happened." Maanvi said thinking about the time when she was nearly attacked by those men, "I don't have any regrets."

Padmini pulled Maanvi towards her, "Beta." She whispered.

"Ma." Maanvi whispered. It was a simple word but for Padmini it was her life. After so many years, her daughter had returned to her. This was destiny. She smiled and laughed as she caressed Maanvi in her arms.

Suddenly Maanvi pulled away, she looked at Beeji and walked towards her. "That's why you came here right? Because you were scared that I'd find out something else?" Beeji nodded. Maanvi took a deep breath to regain herself. "I know what I didn't want to think about came true. My parents…" She took a deep breath, "Jhanvi and Mahinder are dead right? That's why you didn't say anything right? They died that night because unknowingly they rushed home to me right?"

Beeji looked at her with no emotions before saying, "No Maanvi. When did I ever say your parents were dead?"
