CHAPTER SEVEN

KHUSHI'S POV:

Days began to pass quickly, and I was back in college.

I was happy, full and complete.

I knew that the hard part was yet to come. I still have not told my parents that I was living with my boyfriend. Who is my teacher and has two children and a wife. I just wanted to wait for a right time, when things will get right. After he gets divorce, I'm damn sure my parents support me when they'll see me happy and full of life.

Arnav and I had been living 3 months together, his Nani and Anjali kept their word and never visited again. Arnav never went back to his house. Akash came very often to see us. Riddhima still fights with him! But, Payal and Akash has become good friends. But, I could see they both had strong sexual attraction.

Arnav had been unable to reach an agreement with Lavanya, the divorce proceedings went very slow, the only good thing about the agreement was that he could see his children every weekend. That made me very happy.

One night the phone rang around 3:00 am.

"Hello?" I answered sleepily.

"Khushi, It's me Akash." He replied nervously.

"What happens? Are you okay?" I asked. My eyes snapped open at his nervousness.

"I need to talk to Arnav. It's urgent."

"Sure." I said and started waking Arnav up.

"What's wrong?" Arnav asked grumply.

I gestured him to pick up the phone and his expressions changed from annoyed to frightened.

"What happened?"

"Aditya was taken to the hospital." Arnav replied frightened.

"Calm down." I said handing him a sweatshirt "I'll come with you."

"Khushi .. I do not think that's a good idea -"

"I'm coming with you." I got a shirt and trousers. And we left the apartment.

On the way to the hospital. We did not say anything, I was praying God to keep Arnav's son well.

Arnav hurried inside the hospital and I waited at the parking lot in the car. I'm sure his family doesn't want to see me right now and I was more than willing to wait outside.

At about 8:00 am, Akash approached at my car along with Anjali.

"Please god, I'm not up for any other discussion right now." I said aloud.

"Khushi we need to talk to you." Akash said softly. He had a serious expression on his face. I noticed Anjali's face was swollen and mourn.

"Akash's! Is Aditya alright? I asked alarmed. Seeing their faces.

"We need your help." Anjali said sadly.

"What's wrong?" I asked really scared.

"Come with us." Akash said me.

I closed the car and went with them, we come to an office I guess I was of Akash, and there was Nani along with two people. His Mama and Mami. Oh my god! They were Arnav's family. I smelled that something was bad. Extremely bad.

"Namastey." I greeted them.

"Namastey." Nani replied.

"What happened Akash? What did you want to talk about?"

"Khushi, Arnav said of a bacterium and needed to get some tests to see which was to proceed, and these same tests we took them out to Anjali." I looked at him weirdly. I thought he spoke in Chinese.

"Akash can you please explain me in simple English language? I didn't understand a thing." I asked desperately.

"Khushi, he means that we took a test of the children. They are twins..." Mamaji replied.

"Arnav is not the father of Aditya and Maan." Anjali replied suddenly.

"Wait, what?" I replied hell shocked. No, this can't be. I heard it wrong. Yes, I heard it all wrong.

"My Chottey is not the father of Aditya and Maan." Nani cried.
