Here are some-
-New Judges: They need to replace the judges more than anything else. The first season, the Sonu-Farah-Anu chemistry worked, but the second time round, they couldnt repeat the magic.
New Host: I think Mini does a great job & she comes off as warm & she fits well. However, I've never been able to stomach Aman. I'd like them to replace him.
-Voting System: The judges should have 40% of the voting power. Thats how it's done in South African Idol, only now, they have gone from 40% to 49%
-Live Band: The contestants will be able to intract with the live band members & it would give a more authentic feel.
-New Set: I hate the Indian Idol set. It looks really bed. They should change things up. It looks boring & bland.
-Better Themes: One thing that really annoyed me was the Themes for Indian Idol 2. They were either very vague or just plain uncreative. The Folk Night could have been great had they actually sung Folk songs & if they could have kept the original arrangments.
-Different Audition Venues: They should go to different places now. How about going down South? That would be nice.
-Wildcard Rounds: Increase it from 12 to 14. The response for the show is SO good that they should allow atleast two more contestants.
-Guest Judges: If they MUST include guest judges, they should atleast invite guest judges who have some importance in the MUSIC INDUSTRY & not in Bollywood. Agreed, Bollywood celebs do add the glam factor but they cant give them advice on their careers.
