Shyam's dirty dhol wala disguise was awful...you could recognise him a mile off!!

Episode was full of DRAAAH-MAAA

Arshi at the end was a nice touch

Going to have an early night tonight, so am firmly staying away from Redux.

Hello Ladies,

I am not in the mood to write today... don't know why... ... but because of Sandhu dearest I'm just writing

There is one character that just wraps everything that is happening in her heart and moves forward... who literally knows what is best for the people around her... but isn't without her faults...

Any guesses????

Non other than Devyani Raizada...

What did she do today that has me dedicate my post to her? nothing really ... and oh so much...

Here is a woman who took her grandkids in... helped shaped their lives...tried to make them feel whole after what happened to them... what was the first thing she did...

she let them cling to one another ...she knew that they carry a common pain and never did she intrude on that relationship... she knew the only way her grandkids would survive is if they learnt how to lean on one another...so what did she do...

When Arnav and Anajali clung to each other... the Raizada's raillied around them... albeit silently... I know Mami in her loud and get things in the open nature would have wanted to shower her love and care on them, it was Nani who stopped her ... and showed her how to express her love to these two orphans so that they really opened up to them.

Today, when Arnav said he just wanted to move on... he just wanted to let the past be... Nani won the longest... hardest battle she has ever fought, a battle that she undertook the day her daughter died, to ensure that her grandkids would not just survive but thrive. And now that is exactly what the one she was most worried for is doing. Moving on...

Nani has always recognized Arnav... may be because he is so close in character to her oldest friend Dadi... when she knew that Lavanya was now in the house, she had to do something to make Arnav see the light... and she did... she brought Khushi into his life, why because she knew her grandson... he cannot be told he needs to be taught... she also knows that her grandson would recognise the qualities of the person he wants to spend the rest of his life with.

Today too she pointed her very troubled grandson to his bright future... but just as she knows Arnav she also knows Anjali, she knows that Anjali's eyes are not opened, that this is indeed the quiet before the storm. she knows that they need to address Anjali's issues more and that is why she agreed to the discussion.

Though Nani is not without her faults... she hasn't been able to let go of the fact that her son married without her approval... even though in her hearts of hearts Mami is her daughter! she is after all but human.

One small request, Please keep her character strong! I understand that she is feeling like she didn't do a good job because of all that is being asked, and that too by her friend who she already feels guilty for abandoning. BUT I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO SEE HER ROAR WHEN DADI STANDS UP AGAINST ARNAV!!!!! SHE NEEDS TO SHOW EVERYONE THAT SHE IS BOSS.

Loved how she understood that Arnav needed some TLC, not from anyone but from the woman who filled his life with light so she allowed him to do just that... be close to his Khushi... and this is why Nani is the rock on which the RM stands.

Ok I have to talk about Shyam today... thank you for the better disguise... and Abhaas... today was an outstanding performance. OUTSTANDING!!! When you looked at Khushi there was no lust, or desire to be with her... just the quite acknowledgement that she is the object of your affection, before the lust and creepiness and everything else this is how it started out. It was a very good reminder that Shyam at some point did love Khushi.

and then came the Anjali scene... can I just say you blew it out of the park buddy...

The silent support in the look, you saying you called I'm here, even if I can't be with you atleast I'm near you, don't worry I will make it right... dude if you were good I would have been cheering for you. This is the first time I'm disecting expressions that are not Arnav's and Khushi's thats how good you were.

Unfortunately, Daljeet lacked... it was very same old same old look at you then at a family member get scared... come on Daljeet I know you can do better. Why do you think people love Arnav and Khushi because each Rabba Vey is different from the last... yes some aren't perfect but hey I'm not complaining they have a 95% rate that they will get me to melt. ALSO I KNOW THAT YOU ARE FINALLY WEARING THE DAMN BABY BUMP AND YOU ARE 7 MONTHS PREGNANT NO NEED TO GRAB YOUR TUMMY IN EVERY BLOODY SCENE!!! ( I exgaggerate its who I am)

And finally, Aakash getting upset that Arnav gets to be at the mehndi... and then says "Everybody loves Bhai" classic... thank you for the oye to Everybody loves Raymond... I'm glad you are letting your "varied" demographic know you are indeed going to take care of them...

Though I still don't get why you are stating that Arnav and Khushi have done all of the rituals in their own unique way before... so are we going to get all the rituals... include the much needed Suhaag raat?

Just asking...come now an SP couple getting some on their wedding night that would be nayi soch for the channel wouldn't it?

And that ladies was my two cents. (Sorry I'm really out of it today, please excuse the mistakes_

Let me tell you a story today, on how redux started.

we all were viewers once I hope everyone remembers.

The story characters were so inspiring that we had to give our feeling words.

It started a trend that attracted few writers who formed a group.

Tanthya and Doodle were the founders, and that's how Redux came into existence!

Ab karati hun main inka parichay, par kahan se shuru karun mushkil hai karna yeh taya|

Now let me intoruduce you to both, but it is diificult for me to decide from where should I start?

Rahasya aur romaanch ka samagam, aisa bhata hai use sangam|

Shrota hai woh bahut acchi, sune hum sab ke man ki|

Srujan kare woh rochak katha ki sang mein de samicheen teeka tippani|

Adbhut hai uski smaran shakti, jaise ho payi buddhi ek gaja ki|

She likes the confluence of mystery and adventure.

She is a good listener and listens to all our rants and heartflet emotions.

She creates interesting stories and uses appropriate quotes and give comments.

She has an excellent memory like that of an Elephant (English Idiom Have memory like and elephant! Aristotle once said that elephants were "The animal which surpasses all others in wit and mind, elephants are know to have very good memory, also they are only mammals apart from human who observe a death ritual).

- Nani, don't you dare give into her dammit!! The only thing "galat" so far has been her flippin' return from the ashram!!! Grr

Ok, in all seriousness, Dadi is ruled once again by societal pressure, has she always been a slave to society? Is that what happened in the past as well? Jo bhi ho, she seems very assured of her stance, so much so that she believes she alone can right the wrongs of her family..hmmm arrogant much!!

- Hooray for ASR music!! Clash of two ego's again, but Arnie is clearly in the right this time!

- LOL it seems everyone wants a piece of dadi today, even G wants to talk to her alone!!

- Dadi: Arnav, aaj Anjali bitya ki godh bharai hein.. lol yeh, and!???

- Arnie: Dadi aap uss ghatiya aadmi ko iss ghar mein wapas lane ki soch bhi kese sakhti hein..yeh you got that right Arnie!!! You tell her!!

- Arnie: Dadi Shyam ek ghaytiya aur jootha insaan hein, aur mein usse Di aur unke bacche ke aas paas nahi aane dunga!!

Arnie: kyun ke Anjali ke pati hein wo, jeewan saathi hein woh, bhawishya hein woh...

I'm sorry dadi, leikin mein iss baat se sehmat nahi hun *whistles* you go dude!!

- Arnie: dadi try and understand..Pfft, dadi and understand!?? Lol that will be the day pigs fly Arnie!!

- Arnie's right Nani, it's dadi that's the broken record here!! She just can't let it go!! Damn you Dadi!! You're causing long term damage here!! Wake up and smell the coffee!!!!

- Ooo G looks tense when Arnie brought up the past...

guilt?? Fear?? Pain?? Hmm she also reacted upon Arnie saying how Shyam cheated them..she definitely sympathises with Arnie's version of the past. LOVE G in this scene, and the way she warmly smiles when Arnie spoke about forgetting the past which will bring about nothing but pain. G is trying to do just that! Love how like minded they are..looking forward to more Arnie and G interaction in the future!

- I ❤️ how naani acts as peacemaker, she's so good at settling the argument via negotiation!! Of course, Arnie and Dadi are far too set in their ways to want any peace offerings though lol

- Arnie's all about the present bless him..dadi, listen to the words coming out of his mouth...LET THEM BE!! The man knows what he's on about!!

- Ok the woman is deluded; how can you NOT see his pain...woman, don't do this, you'll regret it!!

- Dadi: *glaring with her four eyes* Chahe jo bhi ho, hum wohi karenge jo sahi hein, hum damaad ji ko yahan bulayege.. OOo no you din't Dadi!! Lol you have nooo idea who you're messing with!!

- ❤️ Arnie's killer glare, lol if looks could kill, Dadi would sooo be dead by now...and we'd obviously rejoice! 😆

- And that I believe was the first of many dhamaka's to come that Shyam previously alluded to!

Brilliant confrontation which laid the groundwork to Shyam's return. True to her word, there was no beating round the bush, she's made her motive pretty clear to Arnie, she's here to bring Shyam back, why?? Because according to her it's the right this to do.

It's the battle of two wills in which, I hate to admit, both are justified in their reasoning. Both want to protect Anjali, and both will stop at nothing. Whereas Arnie is convinced of Shyam's deceit, Dadi is convinced of his righteousness; both perspectives is a product of their dealings with Shyam. Sooner or later however, Dadi, will have to wake up to the realisation that she's been duped by Shyam's devilish charm, and by then, it will be too late. This is how we know that Arnie's the one who'll be left to right the wrongs. Dadi's decision to get Shyam back in Anj's life will grant Anj short term happiness, whereas Arnav's decision will grant her long term security and happiness. Unfortunately, both Dadi and Anj are unable to see the wisdom behind Arnie's reasoning, because for them, love and happiness is bound by tradition and values. Dadi's reasoning is simple, Shyam needs to return because a) he's Anj's husband b) he's her jeevan saathi c) he's her future - the father of her child - case closed for Dadi.

- Daadi walks off not liking Nani's idea of mulling over the situation!! It's clear, for dadi there's nothing to think about!! The woman's made up her mind, and there's no willingness on her part to rectify the situation through trying to understand - pfft, yeh like that's gonna get you far in life dadi!! So NOT the attitude to have!

- Aww nani, thank you for understanding Arnie!! That's right Arnie, smile!! 😃

- Aaah, so now G will play hide and seek for both Khushi and Arnie's sake, for both their happiness!! Her determination to protect the two love birds is commendable!

- LOL@Shyam's latest stunt - a dhol player!?? Really!??? LOL you watch, ab Arnie uska band bajayega!! 😆

- OMG he's donned a grubby beard to go with his villainous look!! 😆

- Lol @ the three musketeers, love how their faces light up when Nani gives the green signal to join the mehndi!!

Shyam and Anj's level of distance was a nice contrast to Arnie and Khushi's closeness. A sharp scene!!

- LOL@Arnie's input - LG!! Funny how that name used to irk you soo much once upon a time!! Ab toh bohat pyaar se bolta hein: Laad governor!! Kya baat hein! 😆

- Lol that's the way to imitate her Arnie, complete in ASR mode!!

It's the return of Aaa! Hoorah for another memorable flashback! ❤️

- Lol though I can see why Arnie doesn't like Indian get ups, he looks absolutely stifled in it!! Loosen those buttons up, or better yet, get Khushi to do it for ya! 😆

- Ends on a sweet note for all you Arhi lovers! Love how relaxed and natural Arnie is when around Khushi, lol even prepared to use the mehndi cone! 😊

First timer!!!!

Greetings to all Reduxians. This is my first ever post so bear with me for the irrelevance and length of the post please.
My loyalty to ipkknd speaks volumes from the fact that I've made a YouTube account solely because I was tempted to comment on the videos. However, I would admit that it was a disturbing experience. And though I loved the serial, I felt a misfit watching it, because ironically I kind of still am such a person who is revolted by the commercialization of art/drama.
However, I should thank some comments on episodes uploaded for it is through them that I found redux. And redux was truly a reawakening
It was here that ppl wouldn't just drool over ASR's smirk but would unfurl meanings behind it. It was here that you wouldn't hurl curses at the antagonists but acknowledge the players for doing justice to the characters and thanking them for acting so brilliantly that we end up hating the character not them! Thanx a bunch to the formers of this platform which is a breather for me because being a literature person I knew there was more to this serial than mere pleasure, and you have no idea how relaxing it is to know that I was not hallucinating.

Coming to the serial, I don't think I'll be analyzing much today, or in the future for that matter as I prefer to be a silent reader.
Anyways, I got hooked to ASR because he reminded me of Heathcliff, the fierce lover. Especially the episode when ASR screams in pain after discovering Shyam and khushi on the rooftop, that scene for me was like a re-enactment of Heathcliff's howling in pain at Catherine's death!

Furthermore a while back we heard the heart warming declaration of the lover's 'saansain ruk jana' if one goes away from the other! This declaration was like 'how can you live with your soul in the grave' for Heathcliff.

For Arnav and Khushi there is no them without the other. A part of ones soul resides in the other completing them. Feeling each others presence, telepathic conversations, all are justifiable because they have lost each other in the other and rediscovered themselves all over again! I dont know how much that stands true for Khushi but for Arnav that definitely is the case. Arnav was lost somewhere under the shell of ASR, a shell that only khushi could penetrate, in doing so she hasn't made him lose his identity rather she's made him rediscover himself.

I won't deny that I still long for the Byronic ASR but then my grinning like a Cheshire cat watching the Arhi scenes is proof enough that I don't mind the changed Arnav at all.

However, in today's episode, we witnessed another aspect of our ASR. So far we'd only seen Arnav opening up to Khushi, but his conversation with Nani after the Dadi-Arnav confrontation, showed him in a different light. He looked like a 14 year old teenager who'd recently discovered his fragmented family and lost his parents. The pain was so tangible along with the fear that he does not want to face the same tempest again. It has taken him years to compose himself. He Is now afraid, someone like ASR afraid of the past. Makes me wonder what was in it, how horrific was that particular horror movie!

Arnav giving Di's medicines to Payal! so he trusts the sisters with Anjali more then he trusts anyone else! Gives me a feeling that he might be leaving RM, and giving his di's responsibility to Payash!

Mami jee for a change was a pleasant delight to watch, even her taunts had a flicker of love in it today. Unlike dadi, She was thoroughly enjoying and doing justice to both the occasions. The balance is appreciated!

I don't want to say anything about the Arhi scenes Coz they for me are a delight I wish to savor unadulterated!

Lastly, thankyou for bearing with me and thankyou for redux, I can't thank enough.
