What is it with serials and their obsession with "humshakals?" Sorry to say but not only is it an outdated concept, it is an idiotic idea to begin with.
Kanchi is not Lakshmi. Yes, she looks like her and she may act like her but she is NOT the same girl that Arjun fell in love with. So then why are Jiana and Bua Ji trying to bring Kanchi into Arjun's life as a replacement? People that hold importance in our lives are irreplaceable. And true love looks beyond physical beauty. And for this reason, It's ridiculous to see Jiana and Bua Ji trying to bring Kanchi into Arjun's life, just because she happens to look like Lakshmi.
I used to watch this show with interest before Arjun and Lakshmi got married. After marriage the show went downhill and was beyond repair after the Soumya track. Nothing can be done for this show now. And this leap that came out of nowhere has failed to make an impact (IMO)
The CVs have only themselves to blame. They butchered a sweet and simple love story with their idiotic twists and turns. No wonder the trps are nothing to speak of.
