Actually, if you take all the actors in the poll and do a dissection,

Aman Verma is a no-no, because it is a kinda sensitive role and he tends to ham... In all the serials of his starting from "Pachpan khambe laal deewarein" till the recent "Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin", he hams and hams and hams... He wouldn't suit the role of Aman. at all... and if he does do it, then the show would become a ham show again.

Vikas Bhalla - I agree, he would look awesome as a Pilot. But do you really think he will look good with Simone Singh? Come on now... give your honest opinion guys.... I think he would look a tad bit younger.

Mahesh Thakur - Hmm... Now HE would look good with simone (They have already acted together in "Thoda Hain, Thode Ki Zaroorat Hain". He would also suit the role of the sensitive guy etc... but he is too mota for a pilot... don't you think???

Varun Badola - what do I say to this now. Varun will look awesome... but younger than Simone... same as Vikas... mis-matched pair.

Parmeet Sethi - We know that he can play a sensitive guy to the hilt... remember his Dr Bryan in Astitva... and he would look good with Simone too... Give him a chance please....

Actually, I feel that of the 5 options given here, Vikas Bhalla, Varun Badola and Parmeet Sethi are good choices... out of which I think Parmeet is the most under-estimated actor. Give him a chance...

If it had to be anybody else, I would immediately say Apurva Agnihotri. What do you all think?

yes vikas bhalla would look younger to simone so it would nt be a considerable match

and aman verma eeks i dnt like him he goes over the top most of the time n it spoils the show

and varun badola is a good choice n he wont look younger to simone cummon now wen he can look good with dat wife of his then simone is far more better but zee dosent repeats its main lead actors

and with mahesh thakur the thing is dat ki u should also take ayub (anand) into consideration bcoz it would be rather stupid of simone to leave some 1 like ayub(forget abt ratna fr a while) for mahesh thakur

so the only viable option left is
