Doc-- thanks for the wonderful post -- especially the bold. We did talk about people changing for the other ... Khushi did take a step in this direction .. she did move out of her comfort zone in her own way... remember that this is a big step for Khushi ( one small step for ...and all that Neil Armstrong style). ASR will always look better as he is the more experienced in this... it has nothing to do with belief and non belief and one giviing up more than the other. It is the characters themselves ...one is deeper than the other and it shows! However , Khushi has the guts to swim out into the deep seas without a life jacket and will do it come hell or highwater! To me , it was a big step from Khushi ... no matter that ASR said "do not change "! She will continue to do this and learn how to manage her husband and change along the way for him as the relationship matures! Note how she did not shy away from popping the bubbly !

Another aspect - an SP heroine initiating a date , daring to drink ( wine even if it was lkalakatta) and popping the bubbly are revolutionary!
