Great post Sari and i agree with most of what you said!

I liked the episode; it was not spectacular; it was not the hot romance I anticipated and secretly hoped for over the weekend😉 but more of a cute get-together between an unconventional couple. There were lots of gaps in logic and I would have loved it if the ARHI scenes were not intermingled with the romance of Double D that I could care less about. I hated the flip flop of scenes from Arnav's (currently un-groomed) but super handsome face to Shyam's face that for me is best avoided.

Liked how Arnav turns around on hearing the tinkling of her payal; how he totally checks her out from head to toe and looks on smitten; how she blushes under his gaze and smiles at his silent approva😊l. The goofy Khushi made a big comeback today; and for ASR it was about moving past being embarrassed or angry but being amused and just completely at ease in the company of this jhalli girl he has grown to love. If this is what the CV's were trying to portray it came across very well; while I would have liked a little more attraction and passion displayed between the two the focus today seemed more on an enhanced comfort level and complete acceptance of the other👍🏼.

The entire sequence of Khushi sweet talking the waiter into giving them a seat while Arnav watches his wife's nautanki yield the desired results, to her discreetly trying to copy his moves, to the "Italian kabab"🤣, to finally openly declaring that she is trying to be ASR; all had the classic Khushi element intact. She acknowledges that she wants to do something special for him, he appreciates the effort, tries to make her feel at ease in his world, spices up her bland food and plays around asking her to drink some wine. Small steps that they are taking towards and for each other; their actions an open acknowledgment of how far they will go for the other. The essence of today was him reaching out to hold her hand to say "I love you the way you are Khushi, tumhe badalne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai" and "main tumhe aisi koi cheez harne ke liye nahi kahoonga jo tum nahi karna chahati". Both big statements for ASR; but it came so naturally to him today❤️. The champagne scene had the makings of being terribly OTT but thankfully was toned down and it led to "tum kisi aur ko tuhara mazak udane ka mauka hi kaha deti ho" which I loved😉. I love that his Arnav side has come to the forefront with respect to Khushi but I did not much care for the scene where Arnav tries to appease Khushi by his small mimic act, he is ASR; not NK.

I would have really really liked it if the scene was not brought to such an abrupt halt again to end the episode on the creep's face😡. A drive back with them sneaking glances at each other, with RV in the background, a small thank you for a special evening, a little flirting, a tender hug or good night kiss would have made all the difference in the overall impact.

Kostins: The direction seems lackluster, is Arshad back from his vacation? Is there a new writer on the block? Why does Sanaya needs those atrocious clips when her hair is already tied back?

Are we in for a fairy lights 360 tomorrow since Khushi sure looks gorgeous in the precap and Arnav seems to be dressed in his fairly lights round 1 attire

After a disaster Friday, the CVs managed to redeem themselves with this episode. I know this episode had its flaws and could've been better but given what was shown Friday this time they put forward an effort to deliver a decent episode. I liked it!

So Anjali continues her latest habit of lying through her teeth to Arnav, not an ounce of guilt anymore just fear of getting caught. It is really disappointing what has been done to a character who was once a fan favorite. I was looking at older episodes and when you compare that Anjali with today's, the damage is evident. There were other routes to go with this track if they didn't want to take her character negative, this just ruined her completely.

Scene shifts to Purple Orchid where Arnav arrives first with Khushi arriving shortly afterwards being noticed by the sounds of her payals. Arnav is taken back by how beautiful Khushi looked and who could blame him?

Now why am I not surprised that things immediately start going wrong on their date?? This is Khushi we are talking about and she has never been your typical lead, things always need to be spiced up and indeed they were. Khushi made the wrong reservations but in Khushi style manages to convince the waiter to get her a table. Arnav looks on with a smile probably thinking pagal but cute, this is his Khushi.

I liked the 360 with the chair scene, Khushi who in the past did not understand Arnav was just being a gentleman now lets him and in turn returns the gesture, found this incredibly cute of Khushi who really put forward an effort to do something for Arnav.

As the date continued things continued to go wrong for Khushi but Arnav did not let this bring her down, he appreciates all she is trying to do but lets her know she does not need to change for him just like she doesn't want him to change for her. I love you for what you are couldn't be more true for these two, who would truly do anything for the other.

Ok the part where Arnav mimics Khushi, yes it was Barun but for this scene it worked. Throughout the episode we saw Khushi trying to be ASR so why not show ASR trying to be Khushi??? There are going to be times where things will be different from the past, since this is an entirely new phase to their relationship. CVs do need to tread carefully here though as these scenes won't always work.

The date was over and one would hope we got a scene where he dropped Khushi home but such luck instead they cut straight to the next day. I don't think it would have hurt to show one more scene with Arnav and Khushi and leave Shyam plotting for the precap, infact it would've worked out better since the last part of the date wouldn't have looked so rushed.

So tomorrow focuses on the godh bharai and I must say Khushi looked gorgeous! I'm so glad they spared her from another multicolored fashion disaster with a bad hairstyle - she looked stunning. I am still not for the combined godh bharai and mehendi rasam but if CVs manage to balance like they did today, it may not be so bad. .

What a wonderful, lighthearted cutie fwutie candy flossy, pink bubblegumsy kinda episode. Loved it loads. Right balance between the colour coordinated leads and the colour clashing not so leads. I can rewatch again and again again. Its one of those stress busting feel good type epi.

We start of from Friday. Di cornered by Chotte and sweating essential pani that could have been used for her tears until Dadi saves her. Both these ladies lying to Chotte, while living on his turf. They have not seen what we have seen. Chotte in a banyan and his head in a sack, lying at DHV's feet. Do we remember? Yes we do! Someone show these two dhokebaaz women that awful pic!😡

Onto happier grounds.

So Chotte arrives at the purple Bubbly hotel and waits for Chotti. Chotti enters and he hears her Payal ki awaz and turns around. Aww he recognises her Payal awaz. Heeehee.😳

So he looks at her notices shes dressed in his colours and stares in awe. Bas karo Chotte, aise na dekho usse..I'm grinning like loony Di...☺️

So Khushi gets her dates mixed up and has to suck up her way to bag a table. While Chotte looks on at his pagal half-biwi antics. Of course she gets her own way.😆

Chotte pull out the chair for Chotti but since she is in the favour returning mode, Chotti pulls out the chair for Chotte.

Excuse me while I roll on the floor laughing. And Chotte doesn't even say anything. LOL.

Next she tries to order of the menu.

Chotti asks for a Kebab. I know! Shyam-i- Kebab. Geddit? No. Heres another one. Kebab being a symbolism for the impending arrival of Di the kebab.

Chalo chado. So she picks stuff at random. But Chotti! They could be snails or something??? oh wait they're French and you asked for Veg. Ignore then.

Chotte tries to make small talk and she out of the blue shuts him up with a "What the!"

Yes truly. What the Khushi Kumari Gupta -almost singh Raizada???

"Jab hum baat kar rahe ho toh don't you dare..." Oh right. You are being Chotte. Go on. Chotte needs someone to Chotte him. Lage raho.

Until someone in blue arrives at the purple door. Uurgh. Yeh yahan bhi aagayi..Kabab mai haddi.🤢

Whatever. Boring! Ippy is ignoring them...👎🏼

When Khushi tries the food, it makes her want to puke. Till chotte saves the day and pours some (is it salt, pepper, chilli?) Whatever it is onto the food. And Khushi gobbles away.

When Arnav asks her what on earth is she doing? She tells him that if he can be her for her then she can be him for him.

Till he challenges her indirectly to drink wine, which is actually blackcurrant juice and Chotti does for Chottes Khushi and even psychologically becomes talli.😃

Until Mishraji the ever smiling waiter who loves his job, tells her its juice and snaps her out of her talliness.

Next moment was just pure Awww.😳

"I love you the way you are Khushi...Tumhe badalne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai..."

I can't. My feelings. We love you both the way you are.*sniffles*

And he said I love you because he wanted to. Not because he was coerced into it.

And look at our Chotti, the Khushi on her face.

So one last attempt from Khushi even after Arnav tells her to leave it. He pops the bubbly into Khan Bhai's face.(epi 1. Sheesh Mahal seller) and knocks his specs into his soup.

Mishraji apologises, Chotte also apologises and notices Khushi is upset and cheers her up by being her.

I loved this scene. The way the guy went all outs of his comfort zone to cheer her up is amazing. Yeh pyaar nahi toh kya hai. Beautiful! Maybe he was Barunish. I just saw Arnav in love.😛

I'm going to leave it at that. I have no idea what to write further and I don't even feel funny facing mushfest.

But precap looks awesome. And can't wait for the epi tomorrow.

No VM today. I took too many pics today and overheated the lappy and it needs time to cool down before I can upload the vid. So kal sahi.😃
