Chapter 3 : Some Fun and Some Love...
After two long hours of drooling and plenty of begging, Natasha and Nupur finally stopped their Salman Talks.
The gang decided to have another round of snacks, all thanks to Uday's hungry stomach; therefore Gunjan went inside the kitchen to fetch some knick-knacks and coffee for the gang.
Soon MaNjan's parents came and wished good night to all of the gang. Seeing the time, all decided to stay over. All girls were given Gunjan's night dresses and boys, Mayank's.
While Gunjan fetched the snacks, and the girls changed into their favourite night dresses from Gunjan's wardrobe collection, the boys laid down the matresses in the hallway for making room for everybody to sleep. Pillows were brought, blankets were folded and sheets were laid.
Soon everything was done and the boys sat on the matress. The girls still hadn't changed.."Guys, I'm feeling a little thirsty, I'll get some water and also check on Chashmish once." exclaimed Samrat. The guys nodded and saw a retreating figure of Samrat. They all started to watch their favourite Football legaue "Barcelona V/s Manchestar" till the time the girls didn't decend.
*Kitchen*
Gunjan was busy preparing hot coffee. Samrat silently sneaked and opened the fridge to take out the water bottle and the very moment Gunjan turned to take out the cheese spread to make the sandwiches from the fridge too. Suddenly seeing Samrat in front of her, she jerked back and Samrat dropped some water causing Gunjan to slip.
But Samrat caught her in time, mid way her fall. She held him tightly and clutched his shirt in her hand. Her eyes instantly met his. They both shared a minute long eyelock. Gunjan explored the truth in his hazel brown eyes, and Samrat saw the innocence in her blue eyes. Some of her flick came to her eyes but as a reflex action, he put them behind her ear. Slowly Samrat put Gunjan back to her feet being careful of not breaking the eyelock. Gunjan and Samrat's lips were just inches apart when they suddenly realized what just happened. Both of them jolted out of the reverie. An awkward silence filled the kitchen room. Gunjan straightened her shirt in nervousness.
'What is happening to me? What just happened here? You need to control your feelings. What if it only turned out to be onesided love and shattered your dreams. It was just an accident, don't get your hopes high! Now straighten out and initiate a conversation. ' both the best friends felt and thought the same thing.
"Um, actually I was feeling thirsty, so I came here to take some water," Samrat said uneasily. To lighten up the mood Gunjan replied smilingly "It's okay Sam. No Harm Done. I anyways needed some help, good you came! Can you please take these biscuits, chips outside for everybody. Till that time I'll get the coffee and prepare the sandwiches."
"Sure, why not! Um wait," he excused himself and moved forward "here you go" he held the tray and proceeded towards the hall were the gang was sitting. "Close escape. Thank God things got okay before he/she got to know" again, the two thought the same thing.
*Hall*
The girls by now had decended from the flight of stairs. Samrat came with the tray and kept it on the centre table. Meantime, Gunjan came with the coffee mugs and sandwich plates.
The gang proceeded to help themselves out. Everybody settled on the mattreses with coffee mugs and snacks in their hand.
"Guys, let's play something." said Gunjan. "Yeah, even I am sort of bored" added Natasha.
"So, suggest what we can play!" exclaimed Mayank, looking at everybody.
"Truth and Dare" came the reply from Uday. Everybody looked at him with a plain look, suddenly Diya started to smile and nodded in affirmative "Dodo, what a nice idea!" she said.
Soon, everybody sat in a circle across the centre table. A bottle was brought and spinned. The question side came on Gunjan and Answer on Benji.
"Ben, Truth or Dare? Pick fast!"
"Um, um.. I think I will take truth."
"Er. Diya.. You want to ask him something? I pass on the question to you..!"
"Uh.. Thank you so much Gunjan. I really need it! I really wanted to ask Benji something since a long time. Hm.. So Benji are your ready?" said Diya.
Mayank chuckled and said "So, here we start *Sach Ka Saamna* with Diya Bhushan!" Everybody laughed at his comment.
Diya sighed and inquired "Have you ever been unfaithful to me?" Benji stared at her.
