Hah.Well I know there are like a million posts floating in the forum everyday but I can't help but put in my own "what the" moment :P
My maternal grandmom is visiting us for a few days so the other day we put on Ramayan[The old series] for her to watch.I sat down for a while and then started watching it with her.Then comes this scene where Lord Rama and Sita get married and have Saat Pheras.Now I haven't been much interested in all this until there comes ipkknd :P So I randomly comment to my mom that do we have saat pheras in our weddings?
AND my grandmoher starts chuckling like crazy[Seriously!] in front of me.I am totally flabbergasted as to why is she laughing on this?Then she comments through her giggling fits-
Arrrey!That girl who comes on TV who says "we haven't had saat pheras and we haven't this ritual and that"
For a moment I literally went like- Nani has gone crazy.My mom says from the kitchen- Risha she is talking about the serial you watch!
Me- What the?*to grandmom* You are talking about Khushi?
Grandmom- ahaha!Yes that girl! Haven't you seen that scene where she says we haven't had saat pheras after every second?*chuckles*
And that is exactly how my Granny evolved from watching Ramayan to Rabba vey.
She is watching the repeat right now 😳Lord save our family😆
