Ok, so as per the spoiler pictures, it looks like Dadi seems ok with Shyam. So does this mean that the old lady has been WORKING WITH Shyam? She seems to be blessing him in the pictures.
Here is what I think. Yes, she is. Not only this, she has been sent to RM by Shyam, she has been working with him and been working against Khushi!
When Arnav said that he had thrown out Shyam, she immediately was against Arnav, her own grandson and was defending Shyam, someone she has met only once or twice, presumably. Why would she do that? Obviously since she has some prior knowledge of what she may think is Shyam's innocence. I bet this knowledge came directly from Shyam, himself. Add to that her unreasonable hatred for Khushi, and it seems obvious that Shyam has told her something against Khushi, most probably how she has Arnav under her jaal for his money and how she threw him out of the house after flirting with him.
I think that after Shyam was thrown out, he must have been burning with revenge and since all other ways to RM were cut off, he must have gone to see Dadi. Let's note forget that Anjali is crazy about him and it is pretty obvious that she shared everything with him, including all about her past and where her dadi lives, etc. etc.
The lady just came out of the blue and I bet in her dimaag, she's there to the rescue. I think they are both plotting to break ArHi's marriage.
However, despite that, I think that she is not essentially evil but her mind has been manipulated by Shyam. She does not know the complete truth about Shyam.
