Star Plus is set to axe 'Ruk Jaana Nahin' from the early primetime slot due to falling viewing figures.

According to a report on TellyChakkar, new show 'Khamoshiyaan' produced by Trilogy Krikos and Thoughtrain Productions' will replace 'Ruk Jaana Nahin' in mid-September. It stars starring Mohit Sehgal and Manit Joura as leads.

Earlier it was speculated that 'Khamoshiyaan' would get a primetime slot, but the channel has now decided to give it an early evening slot of 18:30. With this, curtains will be drawn on 'Ruk Jaana Nahin' which never really took off. The recent rating of the show is 0.8 TVR.

Star TV is yet to officially confirm the news.
