Is it all only for Nidhi?

Today, Ashutosh told himself he had no need to feel guilty since Nidhi had asked him to protect Mallika from Jagan...but Nidhi also asked him to keep Mallika well out of their lives..in fact this was the only request she made when she forgave Mallika the attempt on her life...so Ashutosh had every reason to feel guilty...no two ways about that...and yes, circumstances were conspiring against him...but keeping Mallka's pregnancy from Nidhi was not the brightest of ideas...!

All this apart, I have a question...what does Ashutosh want in all of this...is there no internal conflcit...is it all only about what Nidhi wants or does not want...Keep Mallika out for Nidhi's sake and then keep Mallika safe for Nidhi's sake...but what would Ashutosh have done with Mallika left to himself...I think he asked her to leave his home of his own volition...and did not take her call thereafter of his own volition...now, of course, he went after Mallika because Nidhi asked him to...purely because he knew that a life was in danger...based on what he told Baba, he did what he did only on humanitarian grounds...and at Nidhi's behest...

While there can be no doubt that Ashutosh did the right thing in helping Mallika, even rushing to her today when he felt that her health was endangered, I am not seeing the man's internal conflict...

Yes, Mallika is in danger, she is pregnant and she needs to be protected...but she is also the woman who once tried to kill his wife...in all his concern, has Ashutosh completely forgotten all that she did to Nidhi, how she tried to break up his marriage and how she betrayed him...

While his helping her on humanitarian grounds is justified, should there not be any conflcit within him...now, it appears that he has completely forgotten the past...and his only concern is that Nidhi should not misunderstand him...what about his feelings of anger, resentment and betrayal...have they all gone with the wind just because Mallika is in danger,...are we going to see Ashutosh's own conflict ever...I so wish!

I think Mallu's pregnancy has made him emotionally weak..

Am saying I want him to be in conflct within himself...his anger and resentment for Mallika vs his humaneness...I know the humaneness has triumphed...but are we ever going to see the anger and resentment within him...and maybe his anger at himself at not being able to keep his word to Nidhi...I really liked the way he told Jagan that Mallika meant nothing to him after her attempt on her wife's life...would be good to see him sharing his anger and sense of betrayal with Nidhi...instead I think they are only setting up for an MU between them...😭

You know,,,something like...in my desire to be humane, am I somewhere shortchanging myself and my wife...Baba has made it amply clear to him that Nidhi's wounds have healed only on the surface...so wouldn't it be essential for him to share with Nidhi his inner conflict...that somewhere in the process of being a good human being, was he shortchanging his wife and her emotions...was he being unfair to her...that kind of introspection...!

The promo is clear about MU ... and honestly there is a need for drama to spike things up.. so am all for it! 😳

Drama is fine, Tanu...am just saying that I want to see that open communication between them...when they can pour their hearts out to each other...it would make for an emotionally packed scene...not the shrieking drama like in some other shows maybe but something high voltage for sure!

I don't think so. Him asking himself, kya Niidhi bura toh nahin manegi, or something like that. It is such a redundant question, he know she won't like it. She told him in no uncertain terms the night before, that she did not want Mallika to have any part in their life again. How can he even ask himself that question. Even when, actually specially when she finds out that Mallika is pregnant, it will become an even greater issue between them.

Anyway, even knowing that she won't like it, I don't see him stopping. He is still going to go ahead and do what he thinks is right. Yes it will bother him to see her hurting, but that will not deter him.

So asking if it's all for Nidhi. I don't understand that. He does what he wants, regardless.

Anu, I am not saying he should stop even...he can't and he won't because he is made that way...but I want him to recognize that he is hurting Nidhi...I want him to hurt over that...and I want him to feel torn between his role as a human being and as a husband...the human being is bound to win...but the husband can still feel the angst...not justify things to himself on the grounds that he was acting at his wife's behest!
