Okay, I have yet to watch today's episode but did hear about the promo and the huge drama going on right now is causing frustrations in all of us. I so hoped that this show doesn't turn into a typical show, but looks like even they fell into the trap of what is required to be popular.
Anyway, I started this OS over the weekend and wanted to include a little more so I am just now getting around to posting it. I almost let it go but what the heck, might as well.

OS: Celebrations
Majumdar family gathered at the front door to welcome their new daughter in law. After all the differences among the family, all the argument, tears and an attempt to sabotage the wedding the family had come together to celebrate the marriage of their favorite, son, grandson, bhai and devar Aniket Majumdar.
Sanyukta waited impatiently with Aarti thali in hands to welcome her son and his newly wed wife Tejal. She was so very proud of her son and felt ashamed at her behavior. Aniket and Tejal had been quick to forgive her but she still couldn't help but feel guilty for giving them hard time at every turn. Deep in heart she had known that Tejal loved her son and would do anything for him but the mother in her had been torn in two parts, but finally she had realized that nothing was above her son's happiness and decided to surprise the family with help with her daughter in law Sushila.
Unfortunately for Sanyukta her younger son had not been so ready to forgive Tejal as rest of the family. In his mind Tejal had wronged him and Aniket also by taking her aside, he refused to let Aniket have the pleasure of his mom's presence at wedding and tried his best to succeed in his plan.

Sanyukta found herself in a dilemma and made to do what no mother should ever be made to do, choose between her kids. No matter what decision she makes she will end up hurting one of her kids and in the process hurt her family and herself also.
He cringed at the thought of what her family and her son Aniket would be thinking about her now but she had no choice but to stay with her younger son and fulfill the wish of a dying man. She turned to go back in the house to get her phone to call Sushila to let her know she won't make it to the wedding.
She was just stepping into Moni's father's room when she heard her son talking to them. She was shocked to hear what she heard; she could not believe that her own son would stoop so low.
"Moni I won't let mom attend Aniket bhai's wedding with that bully girl Tejal no matter what happens. We have come this far, we can't back out now." Shashwat said with a mincing look on his face.
Moni was not having a good feeling about lying to Sanyukta aunty and attempted to talk to Shashwat again. "Shashwat when your mom come to know that we have created this drama to keep her from attending your brother's wedding she will be hurt. Try to understand Shashwat, Aniketbhai is her son and what mom would want to miss her own son's wedding?"
Shashwat turned and froze when he saw Sanyukta standing by the door with tears in her eyes. He moved back nervously as she advanced into the room. "Mom where were you? I was about to come look for you." He stopped talking when his mom kept coming towards him and knew that there was no hope now she heard everything he and Moni talked about.
Sanyukta looked at her son then glanced at Moni, who bowed her head and lowered her eyes to the floor in shame. She turned to Shashwat her anger visible in her eyes. "Shashwat beta how can you stoop so low? What mistake did I make in raising you for you to go this far just to upset your brother on his most important day? Why beta?"
Shashwat couldn't hold it in anymore and shouted at his mom. "Because my own brother took that girl's side over his own brother. Why should I think about him when he didn't think about me? And again you prove to me that for you Aniketbhai will always come before me."
Sanyukta failed to understand her son's reasoning. Why couldn't he see that he was also in the wrong by falsely printing news about Tejal's dad in the paper without any evidence? Why couldn't he see the damaged he caused by his lies? And Tejal took the initiative to apologize but he hasn't even offered any kind of apology for printing the lies in the paper.
Sanyukta made up her mind and composed herself. "I am not going to argue with you right now Shashwat; we will talk about this later, right now it is more important for me to reach the wedding venue. I came in to get my phone only." She held out her hand for the phone. Shashwat handed the phone to her reluctantly but now that his mom knew the truth there was no way to stop her from attending the wedding. He turned away from her and crossed his arms across his chest cursing his luck.
Sanyukta turned on her phone and was shocked to see the missed calls from all her family. She wanted to blast at Shashwat but decided to deal with him later. She dialed Shushila's number as she walked out of Moni's house quickly.
Present..
Sanyukta came back to herself when she heard Sushila announce the arrival of Aniket and Tejal in her loud and enthusiastic way. She just shook her head at her daughter in law's joy and smiled at her husband.
Thank god the whole family had forgiven her immediately and welcomed her with open arms when she reached the wedding venue just in time. She had explained to them what had happened after the wedding and now no one was happy with Shashwat but they were still trying to get him involved in their celebrations.
Aniket stepped out of the car and held his hand out to Tejal with a tender smile. He couldn't stop looking at Tejal, she had mesmerized him in her traditional red and white wedding outfit.
Today was the happiest day of his life, he never thought that any girl would want to marry someone like him; Tejal not only married him but loves him as much as he loves her. His dream of love and marriage seemed impossible and he had only shared them with his diary but his bhabhi had made it possible for him to make his dream come true and he will always be grateful to her for giving him confidence to make his dream a reality.
His smile widened when he saw his mom standing at the door with aarti thali to welcome him and Tejal as husband and wife. His mom's arrival at the wedding venue to bless him had given him what he needed to complete the day and make his day even more happy.
Tejal felt nervous and happy at the same time. Seeing her mother in law at the wedding had relieved her but seeing her waiting to greet her and welcome her into the family and her new home. Her dream of big family was finally coming true.
Sushila couldn't contain her excitement, finally her Aniketbhai has gotten the happiness he so deserved. She had prayed with all her heart to make everything right in his life and for him to be with the one he loved the most. She had been sad when she couldn't support him openly but she made sure to pray for his happiness everyday. She gave her husband a watery smile when he looked at her worriedly and wiped the tears of happiness from her eyes.
Nikilesh and Binoy patted each other on the back for fulfilling their promise to Aniket and Tejal. They couldn't contain their happiness and excitement at gaining a new family member.
Once the Grahpravesh rituals were completed the married couple were taken to the mandir in the house to take blessings then they took the blessing from the elders of the family.
Once everyone gathered in the main hall again Binoy climb the steps and clapped his hands to gain everyone's attention. "May I have your attention please everyone." Everyone turned to Binoy and waited for him to complete his announcement.
Binoy rubbed his hands in excitement. "First my congratulations to Aniket and Tejal on their marriage." He gave a thumb up towards Aniket then turned back to his audience. "So Foram and I thought the best way to introduce Tejal to our family and show the different personalities is to through a video of some of our best moments. So she and I have put together clips of some of our videos with one of our favorite song that describes our family the best. So ladies and gentlemen I present to you the Majumdar family." The lights were dimmed and everyone turned towards the screen that was set up on one of the wall in the main hall.

Once the video presentation was over, everyone congratulated Binoy and Foram and job well done. Sushila wiped the tears from her eyes and hugged Binoy. Then Babubhai's family put on a comical drama for the whole family.
While everyone was enjoying the celebrations, Aniket and Tejal had eyes for each other only. Sushila signaled Binoy to keep them occupied while she ran upstairs to make sure the room was ready.
Finally the moment that Aniket had waited for was here. Binoy took him away on a pretense of needing something done while Sushila escorted Tejal to the newlywed's decorated room. Sushila was teasing Tejal about her first night when Sanyukta walked in to the room.
Tejal's heart rate increased seeing mother in law; She was not yet sure if Sanyukta had forgiven her completely but she wanted to reassure her mother in law that she would try to be the best daughter in law and she would always love Aniket.
Sanyukta smiled at her daughters in law and blessed them both by placing her hand on each of their head, first on Sushila and then on Tejal. "I am very happy today beta, I now have three daughters instead of just two."
Tejal's eyes instantly became wet with tears and she bent to take Sanyukta's blessing. By the time she stood up she was crying openly. Sanyukta looked at her with concern. "Tejal beta why are you crying?"
Tejal shook her head. "Maa I am so happy that you forgave me and gave me right to call you Maa again. Ever since I was young I dreamed of having a mother and today my dream came true. I have a mother and a big family too. Thank you Maa for making me part of your family."
Sanyukta hugged Tejal, and seeing this Sushila couldn't help but get excited and join them for a hug. Sanyukta and Tejal each put an arm around Sushila to include her in the hug.
Sushila pulled back and clapped in excitement. "Baa I am so very happy today, now we can have more fun."
Sanyukta attempted to correct Sushila one more time. "Sushila even Tejal is calling me Maa, why do you still call me baa?"
Sushila smiled her usual smile and answered in the same manners that she always do. "Hale Hale Baa, Maa, Baa it's all the same."
Sanyukta shook her head then turned back to Tejal. "Tejal beta if you need anything let Aniket or Sushila know." Tejal nodded and smiled.
Sushila settled Tejal on the bed and waited for Foram to join her at the door to block Aniket.
Once Foram joined her she called Binoy to tell him they were ready for Aniket to come up to his room.
Aniket felt a nervous anticipation as he walked towards his room with his Binoy bhai. When he saw his bhabhi and Foram at the door he knew it wasn't going to be easy to gain access to his room and Tejal.
It took fifteen minutes to get rid of everyone so that he could be with Tejal. He turned and closed the door when everyone left. He turned back and was surprised to not see Tejal sitting on the bed. He frowned and looked around the room, he was about to turn back towards the door when he felt her arms go around his waist from the back.
"I am so happy Aniket, thank you so much for coming into my life. Today I have everything I could have ever wished for and it is all because of you." She tightened her arms around him and placed her head on his back as happy tears stream down her cheeks.
Aniket took her hand and pulled Tejal to stand in front of him. He wiped her tears and smiled at her lovingly. "I am also happy that you came into my life Tejal. I never thought my dream of being married would ever come true. You completed my life today." He pulled her in his arms and hugged her.
Tejal hugged Aniket back and they stood like that for a long moment, savoring the feelings of being together. Aniket pulled back and cupped Tejal's face. He kissed her forehead then gazed into her eyes to convey his feelings. "You looked so beautiful today, I couldn't take my eyes off of you."
Tejal lowered her eye shyly; Aniket looked at her in wonder then moved closer to her to kiss her on the lips. Tejal looked up and saw the intent in his eyes and waited for him. She felt his warm breath on her lips and just as he touched her lips with his, she closed her eyes.
An electric shock was felt by both at the first touch of their lips; they did not move for just one moment then Aniket deepened the kiss by tilting his head and increasing the pressure of his lips.
Tejal kissed him back bit hesitantly at first but when he deepened the kiss she placed her arms around him and moved closer to him.
It was long moment before they both pulled back and looked at each other with love shining in their eyes for one another. Aniket bent and carried Tejal to their bed to celebrate their love and their union.
