TWO States !! I was asked y'day by few friends of mine why Two states ...To them I had said that I will tell the reason for it in the post ...Two states reflects the changed perceptiveness of this two individuals over the passage of time, their growth, their broadened vision and their understanding and empathy with one another.. Here was an arrogant, self satisfied Young man who made his own destiny, who never cared nor bothered about traditions and rituals bowing before love and affection and accepting the empty rituals for the happiness of his family ..There was the young girl who used deception to get Arnav to puja now calmly accepting is objection and respecting his decision of not abiding by the rituals , A girl who now understands that his emotions are worth its weight in gold than the so called traditions ..The Perceptions of this two individuals then & NOW is so startling and different.. both have embraced the philosophies of the other without losing their own identities..Both co-exist in this dual state peaceably, amiably and in bliss !

A Father is a security blanket to the family. He is the provider, protector and he brings stability to the family. With an active father figure in the center, the family will be emotionally secure. Khushi-Babuji share a classic father-daughter relationship. I don't have to remind you all that Bauji is not their birth father. SO WHAT!! It doesn't matter here one bit. Its their relationship that runs so deep that matters. When ever we have seen them together, love in babuji's eyes for his daughter pours out. Khushi really is the apple of his eye. He is so proud of her. Babuji is man of the world. He has seen enough things in life and he is not a person with laid back attitude. He was THE provider for this family. He was compelled in selling his source of income for another apple of his eye. But things didn't go as per his calculation. Actually Arnav and Shyam owe a lot to this man. Arnav all unknowingly was the cause for their financial down fall. Shyam.. well from where to start and where to end. He is the root cause of babuji's physical disabilities. Babuji was the first person to identity Shyam's true color. He is a man to reckon with. He kept a tab on Shyam and wanted to know who is. And did he know or what!!. He never rested in peace because it was the matter of his darling daughter. How could he just shut his eyes and give his daughter's hands to a man who looked too sugary to be true. In all this he paid the ultimate. Be came back from his death bed. He is one of the key figure who can nail Shyam. Ultimate death blow to the scum bag.
When the whole world was against Khushi, it was her babuji who silently supported her. So what if he is physically challenged. He can still be that pillar of strength to his daughter. He silently assured her and accepted her wedding. His eyes was soothing Khushi in the time of her distress. He knew right then that Khushi can never be wrong and there must be a reason behind all this. For Khushi, that was a life saving moment. In this entire world there was some who trusted her. Still believed in her. Her hero was there for her when she most needed him. He never let her down. She had somebody to lean on.
He is so proud of his son in law. When Arnav took Khushi by her hand from the middle of family circle, it was Payal and bauji who were beaming in joy. He is so proud of his daughter's choice. He knows very well that Khushi is in safe hands. He knows Khushi like the back of his hand and he has understood Arnav's love for Khushi. He also knows pretty well that Arnav is a good man. It will be a day to remember when Arnav and Babuji will have a conversation. I am so waiting for that day. A man to man talk. Two most important people in Khushi's life and they on same page. Babuji is has observed Arnav very minutely. For him Arnav's high end approach, his in difference is not a matter of concern. He very well know that if Khushi is in Arnav's life and if Arnav loves Khushi there ends matter. They will deal with it. He knows his daughter's compromising nature.
So Khushi you can proudly say NO DAD ANYWHERE MORE WONDERFUL THAN YOU!! I do say that to my dad a lot…
Although I am not a regular participant (only when time permits), but I follow redux regularly and have read some wonderful analysis here ' so many different perspectives of the same episode! I had wanted to write this for many days ' I couldn't stop myself today. I watched last five minutes on my phone in office ' breaking my own rules! Such is the power of IPKKND and this redux.
Topic of my analysis is kinda different yet same from the redux topic - which I shall disclose in the end. Let's get on with it, shall we.
Since last few weeks, everytime I watch IPKKND, only one phrase crossed my mind constantly ' The taming of the lion ' Arnav Lion(singh) Raizada. Fate came blasting into his life, falling from the sky, turning it upside town and eventually bringing him to his knees ' in a good way. He was slowly and gradually resensitized - humanized! The uncaring beast learnt the lesson of life from this slight girl - who had more punk in her than he ever imagined.
Tera naam japdi phiraan [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPSWVTZkgJo] - this song reminds me of him so much ' very beautifully conveys his current demeanor. If you haven't heard this song, please do ' the earthy voice of the singer somehow seems to be of Arnav's heart ' full of passion and pure blatant love. I am going to highlight only few of the stanza's here.

Bhagwan ne chappar phar ke uske haathon me "khushi" di'. But he fought his destiny every step of the way, not knowing it was lost battle. The actual attraction to Khushi I think began at this moment. Something hit him hard and he couldn't quite figure out what! And boy did he fight it!
For last one year, he tried his level best to fight the biggest storm of his life called Khushi' not knowing she is the calm he is seeking. And he went to the level that he became the meanest monster. But even then in disguise of hate ' he seeked her. He just couldn't rid himself of her constant thoughts.

Slowly and steadily, K taught him the right meaning of life, laughter and love. See the slow progression from the disrespectful jackass to tender lover.

Then he finally realizing ' simple gestures bring greatest pleasures.
Who has grown as a person more ' Khushi or Arnav? It's Arnav. The lad who didn't care for puja-path or any rituals, participated in festivals for his sister's sake. Today, he has grown so much, he cared enough for buaji's emotions. He accepts the thoughts of others and appreciates them for it ( a simple "thank you")
If he hadn't been so keen on focusing on defeating his feelings, he would have probably seen the signs. Oh never mind, the clouds of misjudgments have cleared and now he realizes the indications ' that they were always meant to be together. He took her to the same spot, where Aman had disturbed them on Diwali night.
But then, who needs Aman, di, dadi or bua ' this tongue on wheels (khushi) is enough to divert the moment. It was with this innocence that K creeped under his skin and intertwined herself in every aspect of his life. (come to think of it ' when did he get to know about K's manual on arnav ko tang karne ke sau tareeke?)
So the two states ' whose? Arnav's of course. Roaring lion became tamed cat. Oh mind you he hasn't lost any of his authoritativeness. Armed with the knowledge of his love, he has set out to make Khushi his in every sense. Mind ' check, soul ' check, body'. errr ' "dammit'!!!
