NOTE: From this part on, the SwaRon posts and KriyAnsh post will slightly start to be different. I had thought of keeping the story same (which still is) but since their characters are so different, I have to keep in mind to change the dialogues accordingly. Thus, the main concept will still be the same but few scenes will start to differ from this point on. As far as I think, you guys will like the change as well :)
Ps: When we have 3rd thread for this FF, I'll make two separate threads. One solely for SwaRon and other for KriyAnsh. That way you don't get confused on what was changed and what not :)
Chapter 12
It was night time and Taani was in her house in the room getting irritated by what she had seen in the fire escape. She was going crazy as the scene repeated in front of her over and over again. She walked into the bathroom and splashed cold water on her face twice to get rid of the memory. But alas, once a thing that was fit in her brain, it wouldn't leave till she was satisfied with peace.
After wiping her face with a dry towel, she threw it on her bed and sat down thinking aloud to herself. "Sharon Raiprakash, just you wait and watch. Swayam Shekhavat is MINE. He's mine and I love him. As long as I'm alive, I'm not going to let him get far away from me. He was mine and he will always be mine."
With that, she started devising a plot in her head as to how to separate Sharon and Swayam. Seeing both of them together had boiled her blood to its highest extent.
An old person walked in the room and she didn't much react to it. Poor fella simply put down the empty glass and a jug of water by the bed side and left. He came out worried. Not worried for himself but for Taani. He had noticed the untaken medications on the table while putting them down. He quickly decided to call up a number.
A young, handsome dude on the outskirts of the city was having fun partying in a club. Girls were dancing all around him and he was simply enjoying the attention like always. Half of the time, he didn't even know with whom he was dancing with! Suddenly his phone rang. Seeing the caller ID, he didn't care how many girls were around him. He pushed them away and made his way out of the club as he picked it up.
"Yes Ramu kaka, what happened?" he asked once he was in open air.
Ramu kaka replied, "Karan beta, Taani madam has again not taken her medicines. And today, she seems tensed as well' I'm worried for her. Please come home fast."
Karan assured him that he's on his way and he took off that instant itself. Yup, fortunately or unfortunately, Taani was Karan's step-sister and his patient as well. He was a counselor and usually worked on the tough cases only. Taani's was one of them. She could go crazy on anyone so as to attack them openly and threaten their life. Everyone around her did as she said so as to avoid consequences.
If she demanded something, it was given to her. Ever since her mother had died and her father had remarried, she had been like this. At first, she disliked Karan but eventually made a place for him in her heart. Still, her mental stability was lost due to not able to bear her mother's death. Due to which, she was always kept on medications. She was give low doses over the day time and high over the night.
That would balance off her emotions and control them from going off track. It was very important for her to have them on time. When she didn't take, everyone would get worried. Most important of all, Karan would be most worried. She was his sister and he wouldn't let anything happen to her. True, he knew that most of the times, Taani did horrible things to people around her who refuse to abide to her. But sadly, he could do nothing. He can't go against her and neither can he speak up and fight for what's right. The emotions as a brother would come in the way!

Sharon opened the door when the person ringed it for the third time. She was surprised on seeing Swayam standing on the other side of the door. Before she could ask him anything he walked in nervous and started pacing around. Confused, she closed the door and followed him. After he took a couple of steps back and forth, she came in the way and stopped him for good.
With her eyes, she asked 'What?' and he sighed before beginning.
"I- I have to tell you something' There's this-uh-girl'" Her eyes widened hearing that and made an inference.
"You like someone else?!!"
"What? No! Of course not. I just told you today that I liked you."
"Then?" she asked eager to know. His stammering was making her impatient.
"This girl' um' is obsessed with me."
Not understanding after few seconds, Kriya repeated her thoughts out loud. "Obsessed?"
Knowing he'd have to explain, he continued. "Yea um obsessed. She like likes me."
"Then just tell her you don't like her. You don't right?"
"No, I don't. It's not that simple. I can't tell her." He finally sat down on the couch. Again, confusion all over her face, she sat next to him to continue her questioning.
"Why not?"
"She's um' how do I say it? She's emotionally unstable' It's like she gets what she wants and I just can't tell her no. She's wrong but I can't risk her life just for this, you know?"
Now understanding the whole problem, she nodded and went quite. Then she got another question. "How come you tell this to me now?"
"She just came back today. I had forgotten about her. But now that she's back'"
She interrupted with another question that was troubling her. "And when she finds out about us'?"
"That's the biggest problem that worries me too. If she found out, she would go insane and I don't want anything to happen that will put you in danger. I won't be able to bear it if she did something wrong to you'"
She placed her palm on his to comfort him. "You're such a sweetheart you know that?" she asked sweetly.
He smiled and taking her hand up to his lips, he gave her a soft peck on her palm. She smiled and replied back, "Don't worry, things will be alright. Nothing will happen to me and we're together right? We'll deal with her together and when you're with me, nothing will happen to me. I know that."
Seeing the love and trust in her eyes regarding him, he just felt like heaven. This was the kind of life he always wanted. A person whom he loved, the same person to love him back and he truly believed too that together, they could pass through all the hurdles together.
"So, what do you say? Dinner?" she asked him with a glint in her eyes.
"You know how to cook dinner?"
"What? You don't believe me? I'll show you. Come on." Saying so, she pulled him in the kitchen. Swayam was really eager to know what she'll make because as he had heard from Kriya that the only thing Sharon could make was pasta.
When they were in the kitchen, Swayam stopped her to ask. "Wait, are you going to make pasta?"
She nodded. "Yup, and you'll love it. I promise!"
He gave a forced smile and stood in the corner, watching her take out a bowl and the ingredients. The truth was- he wasn't much of a big fan of pasta. But for her, he was ready to eat it with a smile on his face.
He offered some help and she couldn't say no to him either. She let him cut some carrots and other vegetables to add in the pasta and he gladly took up the job. When he was done, he turned to look at her. She was stirring the ingredients in the bowl. As if it was just natural for him, something inside him urged him to go up behind her.
And he did. He circled his hands around her and was super close to her. Her heart almost skipped a beat when she realized the intense space between them. He let the cut vegetables drop in the bowl as she took low and fast breaths to calm herself. She kept on looking at other things to avoid thinking about the closeness between them. Somehow, she thought it would control her erratic heart.
When everything was dropped in the bowl, he kept the cutter and knife away but still stood just as close. Seeing the effect it had on her, he wasn't in any state of holding himself back. Next, he slipped his hands around her waist, making her even stiffer. A fuzzy feeling she always felt around him crept up to its height as she tried to stop her heart from racing that fast. On the other hand, it was the same for Swayam. Being such close to her as wonder in whole. On top, knowing the effect of his touch on her made his belief stronger. He knew that he was falling in love with her, fast and hard!
Before she would let any more emotions escape, she murmured, "I have work to do."
A naughty smile escaped his lips as he whispered next in her ear. "Really? Let me help you." The husky voice in her ear ' it was as if the closeness was enough that he was whispering now as well! Next, he held the spoon with which she was stirring and helped her stir as well. In reality, he was just stirring to hold her hand knowing that he was having an effect on her and he wasn't yet ready to let go of the moment.
"Swayam'" She was shushed though.
"Shh. You have work to do right? Do it then. Ignore me." It was as if he was challenging her to put her emotions aside and focus on the work as she was using work as an excuse to make him move away. She closed her eyes, gathered up the courage and smartly moved her hands away from beneath his and started doing the mending, trying her best to ignore his interruptions by hand in between.
Finally when she had enough, she dared to turn around and look straight into his eyes. His face was only a few centimeters away from her's. His hands were around her. Their eyes captured each other's attention. Both naturally got lost in them and continued looking at other. Soon enough, the spell on Sharon broke but she pretended to be still in spell to outsmart Swayam.
She lifted her hands to keep them on his chest. As she did that, she could feel his heart beats and was taken aback to feel the same kind of beating that she was feeling. Trying her best to ignore that, she gave him a light push back when he least expected it. The spell on him broke as well and she made a run for it but not before he came back to his senses and realized the trick.
Grabbing her by her wrist, he pulled her right back at him, making her crash into his chest again. His face showed a blank expression to her, making her scared on what he would do next. He moved his face close to her and it seemed like he was again going to whisper something. Making herself ready for it, she shut her eyes tight. Before she realized, he had kissed her on her cheek, just a bit far from her lips, and then let go of her hands. By now, her eyes bared no sign of shock. It was beyond shock! She was stunned and speechless. Most of all, the small peck on her cheek had made her go in a trance.
Her hands automatically went on her check where he had kissed her. She did blush deep but managed to hide it a little. Tough he did catch a glimpse of it. He then stepped away, back to the corner, and spoke smirking. "Now, I won't bother you." It took a lot out of her to put her thoughts aside and focus on the cooking. So they could eat and he would leave A.S.A.P and she could then think about everything.
I'm really sorry for the late update! I had it written since 2 weeks but I just couldn't co-ordinate the time to reply to the comments 😳 I'll try my best to continue again really soon. Waiting for likes and comments :D
