That's the funny thing. Poorvi recieved most praises that gala for 'meri jaan'. Other contestants made mistakes, but Amit was the only one to comment on Poorvi. No one had something to criticise about her singing, so he commented on her genre. She was that gala's best performer and he criticised her? That is putting down.Poorvi was just placing the mirror in front of him: look at yourself dude, you also are best in one genre (nothing more or less). And maybe people find it wrong attidude of her because his genre is Punjabi and her western. That's why people might blame Poorvi for something she never did. She didn't criticised Punjabi songs but Amit's way of thinking.IF some one has a bad attitude in this situation it is only Amit.Another thing I don't get: Poorvi in comp by looks? For me that is baseless. Looks are subjective. but if you would measure her and other contestants by the standards of models, film stars, there were loads of other contestants WAY prettier/good looking than Poorvi. I find Poorvi average in looks. And even if the judges made their selection on looks, I don't think the other contestants would stand there.
