An Interview with Karan Kundra
Our reporters never miss an opportunity! So when we spotted Karan Kundra, the star of the hit youth oriented show – 'Gumrah' on Channel [V], we made sure we get an interview with him. Here's what he has to say:
How has it been working for 'Gumrah'?
It's a really different kind of show, for a very different kind of audience. Usually I do daily soaps, but in this show I receive a lot of love, appreciation and respect from people. I am sure I am saving a lot of lives and helping people out. It gives me a lot of satisfaction
Your craziest college experience ever.
I bunked college and landed up in Dubai! My college was in Jalandhar and my friend and I decided to go to Amritsar and see the Golden Temple, which is a two hour drive away. Instead of turning towards the Golden Temple, my friend turned towards the airport and we landed up in Dubai!
Favourite dish in the college canteen.
The samosas. I miss them like crazy!
Take on college festivals.
I love college fests! I try to make appearances in as many as I can. I have been to about 15 or 16 fests.
How was your college life different from now?
I grew up in a small city but the teenagers here are very mature. Here, you have a lot of exposure and are very career- oriented. They know the complications of real life.
Your message for the youth of today.
