Help Me Love This Show?

So up until now, the only Indian drama I've watched properly is Iss Pyaar (don't worry, I'm not here to start a fanwar 😆), but my parents have recently completely given up on it and are now totally in love with Pyaar Ka Dard instead.

I checked out a few episodes and it seems really sweet (also, ngl- Aditya- THOSE EYES MAN... THOSE EYES) but I am pretty far behind and don't really understand exactly what's happening.

I was wondering, would any of you be so kind as to give me a basic rundown of who everyone is and what basically is going on/ character histories?

I realise this might be a lot, but I ferserious want to get into it so any help would be appreciated.

Me and Rafa ^^ are both from IPKKND and we want to start Loving Pyar Ka Dard. So all help would be great

I watched it till the Tilak fiasco happened and I guess I'm way behind now

Okay So I only started watching it abit ago so I know bits and bats.

Basically Pankhudi and Aditya meet and are supposed to get married, I think aditya's mum doesnt like the wedding, but aditya one day goes to P's house and P's uncle told the family that he's came for the engagement but A doesn't know what's going on. So they do the engagement pooja thing and then later A's mum calls him and she asks him what he did and he tells her that he went to some pooja at P's house and their nice people then she tells him to describe it and then she says its an engagement ceremony then A is angry goes and breaks it off.

Then later they find out that P's uncle didnt tell P's family that A didn't know about the engagement. Now P's grandad and A's grandad were trying to get P and A together but then it failed because A's mum got another rishta for A and he's approved of it. A's grandad feigned heart attack on the ceremony of A's engagement and so they didnt get engaged. Now A's mum found out grandad was lying.

P has come to where A lives and then they bump in to each other so I think the storys starting from there.

Not much detail but yeah that's all I know

Trust me I only started watching the show because of Adi and his eyes!!

And the fact he carries an IPad with him and facetime's his mates. He's so cool!

Hahaa! Yeah I love it when they modernise stuff. I nearly PMSL when he was like "YES I HAVE A THOUSAND FRIENDS ON FACETIME."

Partly at the fact that he has 1000 friends.

Partly at the fact that they clearly couldn't say Facebook because of copyright.

Bashurzz are a phenomenon of the IPK forum only. They haven't found their way onto here yet, except that one time when Pankhuri wore a dress similar to Khushi's and the stupid IPK Fangurls got butthurt.
