Final Part :
Arjun had this nagging feeling, like something was wrong. He came to collect his baggage and realised that it was lost. He filed a complaint and switched on his mobile. He called arohi's mobile, it was not reachable. He came out of the airport and got a taxi, he called her again, still not reachable. He was worried. He kept trying again and over again. He finally decided to try calling her landline. Arohi was rushed directly to the Emergency and was soon taken into Intensive Care Unit. All Sudheer could see was doctor's twirling past him. One hour later, He was told that she had not attempted suicide but had taken two tablets to sleep. But it had caused heavy dosage. That One hour, made Sudheer and Amrit realize what it would be if their daughter tried to suicide. They would never be able to live with it.
Arjun rushed to the hospital which the servant had mentioned to him about, nothing could have happened to her. He knew it. He just knew it. If something had happened to her, he wouldn't be alive now. He knew that she knew it too. She could not have possibly tried to end her life. Tears were pouring down from his eyes, without him even realising it.
The doctor had just given permission to meet Arohi in the ward. The toxin had been removed but the effect was still there and she was still unconscious. Sudheer sat there holding her hand, which was as pale as her face, and cold. That's when Arjun entered the ward, disturbing the eerie silence, and startling the worried parents.
Sudheer instantly recognized him. He was the son of Rudra and Kumud, Two criminals who were serving their lifetime imprisonment. He remembered his innocent yet truthful plea for release a few years back, and even his sister, who fought for him. She was a strong individual, who loved her brother unconditionally. He had admired the love and understanding between the siblings back then and had even favored the judgment on their side. They deserved it. he could never punish two innocent souls for the crime they did not even know about.
He saw the guy looking at his daughter with such tenderness that almost brought tears to his eyes. He could see that Amrit felt the same. But the moment, his eyes looked up to him, he could see the tenderness change into... rage?
"It is because of you that she is lying like this. You both don't deserve to be with her! From the time i knew her, there was not even once she had disobeyed you or disrespected you. Now too, all she asked was for you to meet me. Not a thing more. How could you deny such a trivial thing and make her end like this." His words stopped half way, when he saw Arohi fidgeting.
Sudheer was surprised, he was Arjun. He could not even believe his own ears when he started to blame them for Arohi's condition. Somewhere he knew Arjun was right but he could not still believe that he right away blamed them. But instead of anger, he felt overwhelmed seeing the care, and the need to hug him and let him know that she was alright. Just then he realised that, his doll was waking up.
Arohi opened her eyes, feeling disoriented. Where was she? She saw someone standing at the end of the bed, near her foot. She tried to concentrate, narrowing her eyes, there it was she knew those eyes. The mystical deep brown eyes, with glistening tears which made them look like the eyes were made out glass, just like the first time she met him. "Arjun" her voice came out as a whisper, she knew it was him.
Arjun couldn't believe it. After all these years, she still recognized him, just the way she told she would. He went and hugged her, Tight. She began sobbing in her embrace. He whispered soothing words to her, carefully caressing her head. Words would not justice to that moment. Amrit looked too shocked to interpret anything, but remained still when Sudheer motioned his eyes as if saying her 'let it be.' He had made his final decision, his doll was in safe hands, no one can ever love her more than the guy sitting there hugging his daughter, not even him.
