I have started watching this serial after shiv-sati marriage.

So had shiv and sati also performed the saat pheras?In pics,i have only seen them exchanging garlands.

They just exchanged the garlands!

They should have shown na as daksh was a believer in all the customs and rituals.How come he didn't tell them to marry according to the customs and traditions?😕

It was kinda love(court) marriage. Just exchanging garland was sufficient.And daksha was against the marriage so he didn't interfered or must say don't bother for anything.

Shivji-Sati's was a Gandharva Vivaha, where only Garlands were exchanged.

No as far i knw swayamwar was al bout d garland n not d other rituals like sath pheres n sati had a swayamwar not vivah.

In swayamvar when vadhu chooses her var, after that the marriage with all rituals takes place. I guess.

yes,after da gal chooses her groom,then da marriage takes place according 2 da rituals.I too was wondering why didn't dey show a marriage btw shiv and sati if dey showed a marriage btw shiv and parvati?Daksh had 2 agree 4 da marriage even though it was against his will.

I remember in Ramayan,Ram and Sita had got married wid all da saat pheras stuff after da swayamvar.

Probably,as all said,it was Gandharva Vivah so dey did not show shiv-sati marriage in detail wid all da rituals.Ram and Sita's marriage was not Gandharva Vivah.

yes it was an gandharv vivah but every one accepted their marraige so the marriage should be shown, even they showed nadii poojan which is ritual after marriage.

Shiva and Satis marriage details as in the proceedure are not given anywhere

Parvati and Shivas Marriage however was the first vedic marriage of the world,hence all the steps followed in a normal wedding are shown to have been done at that time...so if Shiva and Parvatis marriage was the forst vedic marriage they couldnt have possibly shown all those steps in Sati and Shivas wedding right?😆

PS-i have read that even exchanging garlands by a bride and groom as shown in the show gives validity to a marriage,hence Sati and Shivas marriage was complete under that proceedure!
