Hello folks !! Sorry for delaying the update but I am down with viral fever for past few days that's why I cudn't complete writing the next part. I had completed it few hrs back only & hence updated now. Once again kaan pakad kar sorry dearies !!

NOTE : Some of readers had demanded Eng. Trans. too, so I hv given where ever needed. Though I write in Eng. mostly but sometimes I put some lines in Hindi so as to bring the exact feel & gravity to the scene. I hope u understand.

Part # 13
He then looked towards Muskan & said, "Geet agar Muskan ne tumhe aise rote hue dekha to meri khair nahi hai. Usse toh yahi lagega na maine tumhe daanta. Tum yeh chahti ho ki woh mujhe daante, huh?" A small smile crept upon her lips & she nodded a no. Maan again said, "Good! Aur tum Muskan ki fikr mat karo Geet. Woh akeli nahi hai. Uske pass main hoon, tum ho, hai na! Hum dono ke hote hue woh akeli kaise ho sakti hai. Hum hamesha uske sath rahenge, hai na?" Maan himself dint know wot got into him at that moment of time & he blurted all that. But when Geet nodded in affirmation to his words he was surprised why she has agreed to all wot he has blurted absent mindedly, maybe coz she was just thinking from her heart. He looked at Geet & Geet was already looking at him, both smiled to each other & looked towards Muskan, their Muskan!
After trying a lot Maan finally succeeded in calming Geet & she was no more crying. She was feeling very much relieved after listening to Maan as she knew now no matter wot Maan wud never leave Muskaan alone. He will make sure that she gets all the happiness which she deserves. She thanked her Babaji in her heart for bringing Maan in Muskaan's life to fill the void of her family. As soon as this fact registered in her mind a sweet smile appeared on her face which dint go unnotice by Maan who was constantly watching her each & every expression trying to fathom wot's going in her mind & wen she smiled he felt relieved in his heart & knew finally she has came back to her normal self.
Its been an hour since the trio was there in gaming zone but Muskaan wasn't getting enuf of playing & she wanted to play more. Maan had said her that they are getting late but she was adamant & then she had got 1 more supporter & that is Geet, who requested Maan but when he dint agree she gave him her famous angry glare 😡 making him scare again & shut! At last Maan had to bow down in front of Muskan's innocent wish & of ocurse Geet's anger. 😆 He dint know why but everytime her angry glare wud give him a hair raising feel not in excitment but in fear! 🤣 "Man, wot is she ?? She is capable of scaring me. Me, the Maan Singh Khurrana! But why I am fearing her anger? No, no I am not fearing its just that I don't want her to spoil her mood once again esp. after all that emotional outburst. Yes, that's why I agreed to her." he thot to himself.
Finally at around half past 5 in evening Maan managed to get the two kids out of that stupid gaming zone (in Maan's view 😆 ) & they made their way towards car. All sat in car with different emotions in their hearts & faces. Geet & Muskan sat wid grumpy faces while Maan sat wid a relief that finally they can go back. "Wot was he even thinking while bringing these two super stubborn & mischievous kids with him at this place. Next he better be careful & he wud dare not agree to the place suggested by Geet. Wait, did I just said next time? But why? Why wud I come wid Geet next time? Yeh dono milkar mujhe sach mein pagal kar denge!" he thot & shook his head in disbelief. 😆
As Maan was driving silently concentrating on road Geet & Muskan were just looking outside the window. Not once did they look towards him while Maan wud steal glances towards them every now & then which was unknown to both ladies! He knew they were angry but wot can he do! They were getting late really but this was solely his perception. 😆 As Geet & Muskan were busy in niharofying outside suddenly Muskan spotted an ice-cream vendor by the side of the road. The moment she saw him she screamed in sheer excitment, "uncle ruko!" as she saw their car moving ahead leaving vendor behind. Maan instantly pulled the car at halt at the side of the road & looked towards them & asked, "kya hua?" [wot happnd] Geet just shrugged her shoulders to him as she herself was clueless why Muskan screamed & was trying to ask her but Muskan was busy in looking back to the vendor only. Maan then tapped Muskan to gain her attention & when she looked at him he asked, "kya hua beta? Aap chillaye kyu?" [wot happn?U wnt smthng?] Muskan looked at him with twinkle in her eyes & said, "woh..woh.." [that] she said while pointing her fingers in vendor's direction "mujhe ice-cream khani hai!" [i wnt ice-cream] Maan looked at her in bewilderment, "ek ice-cream ke liye yeh aise chillayi mano koi aafat aa gayi ho! Sab Geet ki sangant kar asar hai yeh." he thot while looking at Geet as if she was behind all this. 😆 Geet was amused wid Muskan's innocent demand & looked at the side she was pointing. Maan too looked back & frowned instantly, "she wants ice-cream from there? No ways!" Before he cud say something Geet spoke, "Muskan hum ice-cream dusri shop se lenge woh achhi nahi hai!" [We'l hv it frm anthr shop] Maan was surprised as Geet had said same thing which he was abt to say but he hadn't expected this from her. Acc. to him Geet must have been out of the car by now wid Muskan 🤣 but he thanked his stars. Muskan made a cry face when Geet said that & looked at Maan thinking maybe he'l melt with her looks. But who was she trying to trick was MSK so before she cud say or do something Maan spoke, "aunty is right beta! Hum na badi wali shop se lenge waha na apko bahut sare flavors milenge yaha par toh ek he hoga. Isliye main na apko achhi wali shop pe le kar chalta hoon." [Yes, we'l go 2 bigger shop whr ucn find many flavors]. Hearing Maan Muskan again gave a glance to that vendor & agreed happily coz she wanted many flavors.
They drove to the nearest & standard ice-cream parlour. The moment they entered the shop Muskan's happiness knew no bounds as the shop looked beautiful with pictures of diffeent types of ice-creams, juices, shakes all around. She clapped in joy making Maan & Geet smiled at her innocent yet childish act. They took their seat & a waiter came to them to give menu card. As Maan knew Muskan's fav. flavor being strawberry he immediately oredered one small scoop but had make it large when Muskan "bada wala". [big1]. He looked at Geet who was busy in niharofying the shop just like Muskan, he rolled his eyes over his another kid! 😆 He finally broke her drooling session & spoke, "Geet, do want any ice-cream?" Geet's trance was broken by Maan's voice & when she heard his question she immediately spoke, "of course I want. Why wudn't I? Ice-creams & chocolates are my fav." Maan just rolled his eyes & muttered "of course" & said aloud, "then plz order which u want." he said eyeing the waiter. Geet immediately took menu from him & went thru it quickly & finally ordered one large scoop of butterscotch & gave back menu to Maan. Maan closed the menu & was giving it back to waiter wen Geet spoke, "aap nahi loge?" [wont u hv?] Oh man, she had asked it so cutely & innocently that Maan dint have the heart to deny & spoke, "make that butterscocth two!" The waiter nodded & went away.
Maan looked at Muskan as he found her quite only to saw a very excited & amazed Muskan looking all around. He smiled at her childishness & then payed attention to his other kid only to find her looking at him intently. Maan raised his eyebrows gesturing wot to which Geet asked him curiously, "ur fav. is butterscotch too?" Maan was like from where dis came & then nodded a no to which Geet got confused & asked, "then why did u order butterscotch for urself?""Oh, she was asking abt ice-cream!" he thot & replied, "woh actually I used to love butterscotch when I was a kid but later I got distaste wid all flavors." Geet got so surprised that her eyes almost popped out & she asked, "U don't like ice-cream! How can u?" Maan just shrugged his shoulders & said, "I don't eat ice-cream & I don't remember wen was the last time I had it." he stated as a matter of fact. Geet was so stunned wid his revealation & Maan really liked her expression as she was looking so damn cute.😃
Their talks were disturbed wen Maan noticed the glass of water kept on table shaking & he instantly turned to Muskan as he thot she is shaking the table. But Muskan was still lost in the surroundings. He then again looked at Geet but in that process his eyes fell on the nearby table & he frowned as he saw the small flower pot shaking wen no1 was sitting there. Before he cud comprehend anything he heard a customer shouting, "earthqake! Its earthquake!" & as a reflex action maan immediately got hold of Muskan & said to Geet, "Geet, get under table NOW!" while Geet just nodded a quick yes & all 3 went under the table. Now Muskan was at left of Geet while Maan was at her right. His face clearly showed how panic he is which means the situation is serious. Muskan found it all wierd & asked, "uncle, kya hua? Hum chhup kyu rahe hain?" [wot happn uncle?Y r v hiddin here?] Maan said, "beta bhukamp aa raha hai na that's y!" [coz of earthquake] But poor Muskan dint understand wot "Bhukamp" is so asked again, "uncle aapko bhook lagi hai toh hum table k neeche kyu hain? Hum yaha khayenge?" [uncle r u hungry?Bt y v r here?Wil v eat here?] Maan who was already tensed abt situation got more irritate wid her baseless yet innocent question & hence blurted out without thinking twice, "beta apki aunty ko aise achha lagta hai isliye!" [ur aunty likes it this way] Muskan giggled at his reply while Geet's eyes went wide in shock 😲 & anger. 😡
And, finally wen his own words registered in his mind Maan realized wot he had spitted out & closed his eyes tight knowing he has again pushed his luck & now he wud be dead soon. 🤢
Geet was first too much shocked with his words & then got angry & looked at him only to find his eyes tight shut. She so much wanted to strangle Maan 🤣 but controlled her urge till he said something to clarify his words. When Maan opened his eyes & looked towards Geet who was now looking at him intimidatingly, her eyes spitting fire & expecting an answer. Maan gulped hard seeing his cutie kid turning out as a Sherni now & gave a puppy dog look which she definitely dint buy. He looked at her pleadingly but she just turned her face away. Maan wacked himself in his mind and cursed his luck & toungue mentally for doing such blunder. "Maan since wen u started speaking nonsense & that too widout thinking. Now how on earth I will pacify her " he thot as he looked to an anger filled Geet.
As if God showed some mercy to him, they heard some1's voice, "its over guys.We are safe!" As soon as they heard it they came out & sat on their respective places. Maan looked around only to find all eyes glued to TV which was showing breaking news abt earthquake which hit whole country but thankfully intenstiy was low & no casualty caused. He sighed & looked at Geet who was looking out of window & anger evident on her face. B4 he cud say something the waiter came wid their order. Maan made Muskan comfortable wid her ice-cream & then got up from his seat & went & sat beside Geet. Geet looked at him from corner of her eyes sitting beside her but dint say anything & kept looking out. Maan sighed at her being indifferent & said, "Geet mera gussa ice-cream par toh mat nikalo. See its melting." [Y r u takin my anger on ice-cream ?] Geet dint say anyhting but start eating her ice-cream after all how can she be angry on ice-cream, hai naa! 😆
On the hand Maan thot, "chalo ice-cream toh kha rahi hai." They ate their ice-cream in silence & all the while Maan's eyes glued on Geet only & he kept on thinking of ways to manaofy her but nothing clicked in his so called very sharp mind. 😆

The next update is going to be more interesting but I will update when the no. of like for part 13 reaches at least 50 out of 120 ppl whom I had sent PM & want a little more comments. So wil see all after Page 45. 😃 As I said before too I am greedy but I hope I am not asking more & I know U will do this for me.😉
