Author's Note: So enough with the light hearted convos and what not. TIME TO GET SERIOUS. The drama is about to unfold now so wait and watch! Haha, I'm laughing at how long it's taken me (20 chapters) to finally start thinking about the unveil of the mystery - oops. But you guys love me for that, don't you? 😆

Chapter Twenty: Party

"Tarun is everything sorted?" Swamini asked, making sure the decorations were missed.

"Yes madam, everything is fine." He replied.

"Okay, have you checked with Vanshika and food arrangements?" She asked.

"I did but thought you would want to check over to finalise everything."

"Okay I'll do that." She gestured Tarun away and looked around the hall.

It was decorated with white sculptures, even an ice one with a beautiful crystal chandelier. In the sides were even red roses to compliment the white. The theme Kadambari has chosen was black and white, which went brilliantly with the theme of the invitation cards.

Swamini walked into the kitchen were Vanshika was making sure nothing was missing or wrong. "Everything alright Vanshika?" Swamini asked.

"Yes Di, it's fine. Just need to make sure the tables are ready and it'll be fine." She replied.

Swamini smiled, "Okay that's great.

Swamini went upstairs to change into an elegant white suit whilst the guests started arriving. The Vadhera's were very well known for their sophisticated parties and Swamini was not going to let anyone ruin their reputation.

Viren button his shirt and wore his black blazer whilst Jeevika put the finishing touches on her white suit. Viren smiled at her, "You look very beautiful," he said. She walked over and fixed his collar and replied, "You too look very handsome."

Over on the other side, Viraat wore a white shirt and black blazer, similar to his brother Viren but wore a thin black tie that made him look dazzling. Adjusting his hair, he walked over to Maanvi's door. He was wondering what she looked like, Swamini Bua had given two suits to choose from, an anarkali dress and a normal suit and a sari as well. Virat was intrigued to find out which one she had chosen, personally he felt that she should have worn the sari seeing as he had never seen her in one before. He knocked on her door and was shocked when he saw her.

Draped around in a beautiful white sari, Maanvi looked like a delicate princess. Her makeup wasn't over the top but perfect enough to highlight her features. Her hair was opened but brushed to one side, making her look more older and less childish. Virat gulped. He had never thought of her to be that beautiful. She was perfect. No, she was more than that. Viraat smiled at her.

"How do I look?" She said nervously.

"Beautiful." He said. Maanvi blushed.

"I didn't know my wife was that beautiful." He whispered.

Maanvi rolled her eyes and stuck her tongue out. "I didn't know my husband could scrub up so well." She looked at his smart clothing. She liked it. It was different, good different.

"By the way, I didn't think you could wear a sari" Viraat said.

"Hm, actually when I was younger I used to wear my mom's saris all the time. I loved it." She said quietly.

Viraat noticed her sad expression, "Teach me some day?" He winked.

Maanvi laughed. "Of course, princess!" She joked.

Both of them walked down to see the guests arriving, Jeevika waited impatiently for her parents to arrive. Just then, two figures came through the door and Jeevika ran towards them and gave them a hug. Maanvi bit her lips, trying to see Jeevika's mum's face and when she did, she was shocked!
