Like mother like daughter?

I just watched today's episode and wondered if this is a case of like mother like daughter.

There is a connection between Arnav and Khushi's past, so is there a similarity in what happened in the past to what happened with Shyam?

Could it be that Khushi's mother accused Arnav's father of propositioning her? And after hearing Khushi's mother's rant Arnav's mother committed suicide.

Just wondering because I am sure there is a valid reason for ASR not liking his father and it could be because of his father's roving eyes or something.

Dadi already doesn't like Khushi, so her hatred might intensify once she comes to know what has happened with Anjali and reveal the truth to the whole family.


Just something my mind keeps speculating on.

I am also very confused. I don't think Arnav's father had an affair with Khushi's mom, may someone close to Khushi's mom or he tried to proposition on her. Or it could not even be an affair but something else.

Affair seems to be a likely scenario for the similarity angle and Anjali also may turn against Khushi again.

I just hope they don't go back to showing the hateful ASR. I want him to stand by Khushi like he is doing now.
