Sonam is in the wrong era, I always felt she had a 1950's appeal the type you'd wanna take home but not do anything with once you get there, a classical olden face best suited for those times she could've raked more success then.

sonam currently only has Raanjhana and bhaag milkha bhaag, both of which dunt seem blockbuster material or anything "author backed" for her...

People here talk like Sonam never got any appreciation for her work! Please! She got plenty! Her problem is those movies where she was appreciated bombed. Well only 1 film was hit. Her acting was panned only in Thank You & Players (and even I will say she sucked in those 2...just not her genre of films!). And she does look much younger than her age so she does have time on her side. Maybe her peak will come in her 30s :-)

She cannot act, her expressions have no depth! The only reason she even got a chance is because she is nail kapoors daughter. The quicker she she realises, the better it is for her. Besides she should keep her nog fat mouth shut and think abt what she is saying as she for me comes across as an arrogant brat.

sonam finished with her debut... she's just trying to leave a few more things her grandkids can watch when their parents punish them for mischief.

Watching Sonam act is like watching paint dry. Its simply very boring. She does not light up the screen at all. She sure lights up the magazine covers but that screen presence is not there in her films. She has such a feeble voice...it never packs a punch anywhere...not in a hysterical scene not in tragic scenes not in hilarious scenes not anywhere. I only liked her in Delhi 6. Amrita and Ira stole the show in Aisha. Not even the flurry of designer dresses could make Sonam stand out as an actress there.

Sonam's situation now is what Ash's was 10 years ago when she was kicked out of Chalte Chalte. No major projects on hand and many people irritated due to her big mouth. So Sonam should do what Ash did...pretend she is the next Hollywood queen till she finds a big shot to marry her.
