Chapter 1
"Can you just go away, Arnav? Please. I don't want to talk about it." Khushi said. She was crawled up in a ball on her bed, wearing a tight black party dress with sky high heels. Tears were streaming down her face - her mascara and eyeliner running. She looked like a mess. "But Khushi-" Arnav started, but was stopped by Khushi's hand over his mouth.
"Arnav, please. Just leave me alone. Please." Khushi sobbed, looking away from Arnav. He got up from her bed, took one last look at his best friend, and left the room.
"WHY??" Khushi yelled through her tears. "Why did you do this to me, Karan?? WHY??!!"
Everything had changed in one night. Karan, Khushi's one true love and fiancee, has cheated on her. Khushi, Arnav, and a couple of other friends had gone to a nightclub. And what had she seen there? Karan. Making out with some Russian chick, Tatiana. Khushi had come home screaming, throwing her engagement ring in the trash can. It was too much to handle. She had never, ever, thought that Karan would betray her.
"No one loves me!" Khushi screamed. "No one." Her bedsheets and pillows were stained with tears and makeup. Just then Khushi's phone rang. Arnav's special ringtone.
"Arnav?" Khushi said when she picked it up.
"Khushi? Do you want me to come over?" Arnav asked, concerned.
"Arnav..."Khushi said, crying into the phone.
"Khushi, please don't cry. I'm here for you. That good for nothing Karan-" Arnav said.
"But I love him, Arnav. I still do. Do you even know what I had planned out for us? I was going to spend the rest of my life with him! We were going to live in a big house and have lots of kids and...and...look at what happened!!" Khushi said.
"Khushi, I am coming to your apartment right now." Arnav said, controllingly. He hung up. Khushi sighed and put down her phone. I am not going to cry anymore. Khushi said to herself. She got up and went to the bathroom. She changed out of her dress and heels into pajamas and bedroom slippers and washed off all her makeup.
Ding Dong. Khushi ran to open the door. There was Arnav, wearing sweatpants and a paint-splattered t-shirt.
"Khushi..." Arnav said, wrapping Khushi in a hug. "Are you okay?"
"No, Arnav." Khushi said, with her arms still around Arnav. Khushi checked her watch. 3:32am."Arnav!! Oh my gosh...it's 3 in the morning!! Why are you here? You should be asleep!"
"You think I could sleep after everything that happened at the club?" Arnav asked.
"No, but-" This time Khushi was the one cut off by Arnav's hand over her mouth.

And I'm not joking! I seriously love this story! Lol! All that's going on in my head right now is what could possibly happen next! I'm thinking up all the cute scenes that ArHi could experience!
