I totally agree with you on your post in ideal situation where a couple adopts a child together &in agreement...Then all their kids apopted or bilogical should be loved equally ...All would be raised as bro-sis...There should not be even a slight convo on who is who...It is not a child's fault in being adopted..I have 3 family members who were not having kids so decided to adopt a child after 7-8 yrs of trying...Once they adopted in a yr or 2 woman was pregnant with their biological child...These 3 couples have one of each...Never demarkation or discrimination...Happy families...😃👏But here in PR Archana did not fight for her own kids and than went ahead to adopt & raise a girl w/o husband's knowledge mind you for 18 yrs by herself...How is a father supposed to love her equally like his otherkids? Yes Archana can love all her kids equally but Not Manav...As he never was aware or involved in Purvi's bringing up..So by that logic Soham and Sachu are not Purvi's brothers...This is my explanation...People here do not hate anyone or adoption at all...You are simply missing the point..😳
Agree with what you have written that while Archana can love all her kids equally, Manav at least of yet cannot love Purvi in the same fashion as he does Ovi and Teju. But still remarkable of him to have owned up to the responsibility of father (to Purvi, however he came by it through his wife's adoption sans his presence) and to do everything in his power to bring Purvi back.
I don't think I want Soham and Sachin to consider Purvi their sister because of the fact that being an ARVI fan I want Arjun and Purvi together. To me, ARVI has nothing to do with that sibling relationship. Purvi considers Sachin her dada, addresses him as such and Sachin to his credit has never said he is not. Even at her engagement party (Vinay), when Archana introduced Sachin as Purvi's brother, Sachin did not demur. He considers Archana as his Aai and so her daughter is his sister. Same way, Purvi knows about Soham and has always considered him as her aai's son (just as she has done Sachin) so her brother. That is why it would be nice to see Soham reciprocate the feeling.
I also agree I believe Soham has a softer side to him, I liked the way he touched Archana's feet (Shyamala, I do not think it was a mockery, I fancy it was some recessed memory and that he was overcome inspite of himself. Even his reaction to her touch was not deliberate to be fake, it was unconscious) and I do believe being the son of ARMAN despite Balan and Varsha's presence in his life, he has some innate goodness in him. Shyamala, call me naive or a fool but as an idealist I would like to see the better side of Soham surface. (sorry to be responding to your other post as part of this)
