You are absolutely right. You see, his family has always said, he is like that and accepted all his doings as his nature. No one dared to tell him on his face that you are wrong or this is not how you do it.

When he married Khushi and came home, Naniji said...

"He is like that. We all know it. But you are a smart girl. You should have said no."

They expected Khushi to be the mature one despite to be the younger and more vulnerable of the two. But Arnav? His actions are justifiable, because he is like that.

Even when Khushi and him were fighting, Anjali came and talked to Khushi. Do you remember what she said?

"Chotey is like that. But you are smart. You will understand."

See? Same pattern no?

When it comes to Arnav and any other person, it's always the other who has to understand him.

So today, when he expects Khushi to come back home and give her heart to him on a silver platter tied with a red bow, is he wrong?

No. Because his expectations were created by his past experiences.

He does not say sorry, thank you, please or even Happy Birthday. But it's okay because he gives expensive gifts and lavish parties to make up for it.

But Khushi did not want that. So he got upset because he does not know what to do? It always worked before. Why is it not working now?

Now let's talk about solution. He won't get the point on his own until his strategy fails and Khushi refuses to even talk to him or even if she goes back to RM for her family, holds herself off from him. Then he will realize that his aim is to get her heart back, not her physical lifeless presence in his room...

A person changes strategy when it fails. No one changes a successful strategy and so far this strategy has worked for him. So why change strategy until it's broken?

The problem is, Khushi is not here to show him the way this time. He is fending for himself. This time he will have to come to the realization himself, by ofcourse going back to all these moments and connecting all the dots to the many clues Khushi and all the ppl around him have left for him.

Questiosn is, Does ASR have enough brains to get what Arnav's heart so dearly pins for???

well lets c...the game of ASR's realization has just begun.

Excellent post. You have made me understand Arnav's stance better. He has always wanted Khushi to want and need him. When she refuses his gestures and help, he becomes more determined to get her no matter what.

perfect analysis of todays episode... u have not missed anything what i found special about todays episode...thanks a lot for this post...I dont know why people are bashing arnav like this... Guyys he is ASR... He has his own ways in doing everything... morover he is doing all these things to win back his ladylove... yeahh his ways are weird... but its because he knows well that how stubborn khushi is...

I would like to disagree with this because if u read the article properly, Tia has mentioned very clearly that his way is not right as he does not understand Khushi AT ALL nor Khushi understands him.

Thats why they are doing all these things which eventually MIGHT drive them apart as opposed to bringing them closer. Unless one of them smarten up and handle the situation differently.

This to me was a very unbiased post and in her article I did no see her taking a stand or justifying Arnav's actions. She only mentioned the reasoning behind his ASR's strategy and what come to play when ASR strkes a deal. Whether it be business or loved ones, his stratagy does not change.

If he really want to win Khushi over and not just get her, he needs to be a husband and a partner not a Lord and Master.

u know coming on the forum today, i have read some outrageous posts, some defending posts and some drooling posts even but ur post stands out in all of them. u explained everything so beautifully and so meticulously. i just loved every bit of it.

currently i guess ur the only sane voice iun this forum and everyone who loves this show should read it

ThnQ ...honeslty reader like u make a hugh different. But the problem is not everyone reads the article for what it is,...some have ended feeling like Tia is trying to justify Arnav's actions which is truly not the case.

I would appreciate too if the mods would make this a sticky and hopefully a post like this would end the bashing spree once and for all.

Just like Tia said,...asking ppl to stop will not help. But understanding the characters would give them enough intensitve to realize what drives the character acting a certain way. Once the deeper understanding is in place nagative statement will automatically stop and the viewers will be able to enjoy IPK the show and its characters for what it is.

Hello everyone.

Thank you very much for reading my post and for your comments. I appreciate it. As I mentioned, I was extremely disappointed in Arnav's actions. So this is NOT a Arnav defense post. This is not a Khushi defense post either. This is an analysis of the two characters who have flaws, yet are made for each other.

They are complicated characters. So they are harder to understand even to each other. Arnav is making more and more mistakes because he is not understanding what Khushi really needs. And Khushi is getting more and more upset with him because in spite of doing so much for his family, he is taking it out on her family for a deal. Both are right in their own feelings but wrong in understanding the other's feelings.

Each of us, good or bad, are product of our upbringing and circumstances. We all have flaws. But we learn to not do something inappropriate because our elders teach us not to do it and punish us when we do. But Arnav never learned that.

I mentioned in my previous post too. He got everything very easily from Khushi. She gave her heart to him even when he hurt her, she forgave him before he could say sorry, she came to him over and over even when he pushed her back. So how would he know that there are consequences to his actions?

Most of us complained that why Arnav is not feeling guilt or remorse or saying sorry to Khushi? Not once he remembered what he did to Khushi since his marriage and before that too. Why would he? He thinks his actions are forgotten and forgiven. So why dig them back? Would you remember your bad deeds even after they are forgiven? No right?

That's what was my point. He will only realize his mistake when he faces the consequences. Never before.

Honey.. I loved the post..

I agree to everything you said.. word for word..

I know all this.. and I understand it... but I don't think I could have said it this well!

What upsets me is that they know they both love each other.. we saw that love the night of Shyam's confrontation and during the kidnapping.. but then how can they just forget and behave like nothing happened.. yes I agree.. that is the way they are .. and yes, the only reason I still love both of them.. no matter how much they irk me.. is that they both are slowly changing because of the other.. they started poles apart and that day isn't far when they will finally meet.. they both are changing their ways and accepting their love for the other. Arnav is learning to express his love and Khushi is learning to accept her feelings.

But.. but.. but.. what if before they meet, there is another MU.. so that's what I'm worried about.. they still haven't accepted their love for each other.. well Arnav knows he loves Khushi and that Khushi loves him.. but I have a feeling the next MU is not going to be with Arnav.. it will be with Khushi.. what NK told her still worries me. .no matter what happens I will always be with you.. that worries me.. I'm very very nervous that something might happen just when Khushi realizes that Arnav loves her and wants to confesses her love to Arnav.. but then there might be an MU that makes her think that Arnav never loved her, 'coz until now he has never admitted his true feelings to her (because he doesn't know how to express them!) and he keeps playing games with her and making her cry while also making her feel loved at the same time.. I am sure the next MU is going to be on Khushi's part.. she will misunderstand Arnav.. and walk out.. and Arnav will be heartbroken..

Like you said correctly in your PM or comment, all these games can happen once their relationship is strong! It did reach that point once.. but then it got lost, once Arnav yelled at Khushi and she decided to do what she does best, sacrifice and then to make her stay, he did what he best, put his ASR mask on! I can go on for hours and hours talking about why they do the things they do.. but yes, you said it perfectly.. I don't think I could have ever said it this well!! 👏

I'm just really scared about the next MU.. I had 6 months of heartache.. is it too much to ask for 6 months of happiness? or wait, just 1 month of happiness?
