What trait or characteristic of each of these characters do you like best? Why has this character appealed to you so much?
I personally think Ashutosh is one of the most interesting male characters on TV today...possibly even the most interesting...in fact, this is one show where the man actually has something to do...I mean he has a clearly defined character and is not a Mr Darcy clone...although I personally adore Mr Darcy and he will remain my favourite alltime romantic hero, I was gettting tired of all those clones...none of them were a patch on the original anyway..
I like the fact that this show is well-balanced...neither is the male lead an arrogant, rich boor who gets turned on by insulting the female...nor is the female lead an innocent damsel in distress who gets turned on by being insulted by said boor..both of them give as good as they get...in a positive and a negative sense...
So, here are my favourite traits...
Ashutosh
1. I like the fact that Ashutosh is complex and unpredictable..I loved the way he reacted to Nidhi's pranks the day before...while he would have been justified in blowing up for being called away from work, he chose to indulge her childishness for once...and same goes with the schoolgirl avtaar!
Nidhi
1. I like her never say die spirit and her singlemindedness...I loved her retort to AShutosh that he would have been jailed for marrying a minor when he wondered what would have happened if he had married 10 - 15 years ago...she did not even contemplate the possibility that he could have married someone else...loved her for that!
