Its all for TRPs.. Even with many stars and promotion, JDJ is not able to get the required TRPs when compared to DID Little masters which is rocking at the same time slot.. So the channel has no other choice left to bring in more TV stars who are popular to gain more TRPs. Now As Wahi, Rashmi and RD fans have joined the forum, they would definitely tune into TV as well and obviously TRPs will increase. Non TV stars don't have a reach or impact to the viewers when compared to the TV stars.
