Thankless Ranveer's Father

I was just shocked beyond words at this guys nerve. First of all, his son ran away on the wedding night with Sahiba's jewellery and still this guy was throwing his weight around and shouting and abusing Sahiba's family and dad.

I do agree that it was Sahiba who gave away her jewellery to Ranveer in the first place. But, Ranveer's father doesn't have an OUNCE of HUMANITY and HUMBLENESS in his attitude. What is his son's qualification anyways? What is this guy BOASTING so much about? Its not that his son has gone ABROAD to take a white collar job or has gotten some kinda PRESTIGIOUS HONOR like a scholarship or something. Even then, what is he bragging about? Ranveer father is indeed extremely THANKLESS and SELFISH.

How dare he even say something like "Aur koi Sahiba se shaadi nahi karega. Sirf mera ranveer hi sahiba se shaadi karega aur woh bhi uski marji hui to".

What does he think sahiba is? Is she some piece of cloth? Is she some kinda consumer good in a grocery store that Ranveer will pick only if he wants?

Of course, I am also not very happy with Sahiba being obsessed with a guy like Ranveer? But, I'll leave that discussion for another day.

Fellow IF member, please share what you feel about Ranveer's dad.

I used to dislike the father even when he appeared in 'Jhansi Ki Rani' and i thought he might be a better person here but he is just full with the thought that his son is going to London and he is so proud of it even when they are at fault 😕

Well said. I wonder how he would behave if his wanna son actually becomes something. Even if his son Ranveer ends up becoming something, the credit for that should go only to Sahiba.

Idiot father.

Frankly i don't give a damn for that man or the family. Agreed the mother had some conscience. But really, the cheek of the family to come dancing to the bride's home without the groom!! The man has no shame - the bride gave her jewellery to his son so that the son could fulfil his dreams - shameless!!!

But what really takes my gall is Ranveer . Sahiba being deeply in love was totally blind - with blind faith she had given her jewellery to Ranveer on her understanding that it would help both Ranveer and herself to go to London. Ranveer - he is shameless, irresponsible and lacks moral character. If he had been an upright man he would have never taken the wedding jewellery of his wife - well at least not before the wedding - the fact that he could without conscience take the jewellery is already bad enough - already should have given Sahiba warning signals that this is not quite the up and up man. To make it more despicable - he leaves her on the wedding day before marrying her - he never thought of the hurt he is causing her, not to mention the embarrassment to her and her family. To make it even more despicable was the fact that he did not even make a phone call to speak to her to tell her he is leaving - the call he made was after the wedding fiasco and at the airport. Sahiba is truly mad to believe in him. He is a person without character - he is someone who fulfils his own dreams without cariing whether it would hurt the people he purports to love. He is selfish. A man like this will continue to fulfil his own wishes at the cost of his parents, wife and children. SELFISH TO THE CORE - THAT IS RANVEER.
