Bhago's Demise - Unnecessary Emotional Atyachar

Anandi is one of the most mature heroines in Indian Television... She is reasonable and rationale for the most part. Its understandable she does not want to remarry. If Bapusa, daadisa, etc. had some rational conversations with her about marrying Shiv then she might have agreed after sometime on her own. Its not like she hates Shiv. Yes. She is NOT in LOVE with him...that will take time, but she respects him already.

Instead just as she was coming out of her divorce depression, she is going to lose her mother. Not only that she may feel guilty for refusing remarriage and causing Bhago's fall. The "Yes" in the precap was simply horrible. Anandi wasn't saying Yes to Shiv, she was saying it to Bhago as a means to get her to live. But, it was EPIC FAIL. As was this Emotional Blackmail plot of Daadisa. Bhago dies and her project of AnSh marriage is no further ahead. Because all that's accomplished is making Anandi majboor not willing. Shiv categorically does not want an unwilling bride and Anandi definitely doesn't want to be a bride. So, who did Daadisa exactly make happy? 😕 I really really hope Shiv somehow fixes this mess by refusing to accept this forced Yes.

So agree Anjana. I hate the timing of the events. I mean she had just STARTED being nice to him, thinking of him as a friend- being cordial to him after the entire proposal & rejection fiasco. Now its like they took one step forward in their relationship but God knows how many steps back thanks to whats going to happen tomorrow.

But I don't know why the creatives were in such a haste to pull off Bhagos Demise. I get that the actress playing her wanted out of the show- but not like they were showing her anyways. When the creatives didn't feel the need to show her presence during Anandis divorce ordeal- then why now?

I wish they had waited- even if they wanted to kill her ultimately- hate that its coming at this juncture in the storyline. Wish they had given more time for Anandi & Shiv to bond.

As you said- I quite disliked the precap myself. From the spoilers we were getting, I had hoped for that scene to be a little more poignant. I wish it wasn't sooo dramatic. Poor Bhago Actually falls?

And I don't think she even hears Anandi say yes. So what kind of a promise is that? And even the Yes- don't get me started on it. It was very poorly conceptualized. Kisi se bhi shaadi sounds so bad IMO. I wish she had said SHIV se shaadi. More impactful. Here it gives the impression she is ready to marry the next bumpkin she might run into in the village.

All I am hoping and looking forward to seeing is how Shiv lands in Belaria and what Anandis reaction on seeing him will be. I really wish they have some bonding post this- kind of like the conversation they shared post Child Bride Revelation.

Regardless, its sad that BV is losing one of its talented cast members. Agreed Bhago was not a permanent fixture in the show. But we- the viewers & Anandi will surely miss her. Heres to Bhairavis brilliant contribution to the show. 👏

Absolutely agree with you on this. Don't know why they brought this kind of situation.
The friendship that Ansh built yesterday was so good. They should have allowed this friendship to grow first. Instead they are forcing her to remarry.
Instead of AnSh going on a vacation they need to send the elders somewhere on a pilgrimage trip so that Ansh get some time for their own like yesterday !!!😆
Well.. Dadisa will be the only one happy if Anandi agrees, DD doesn't care how. DS wants to make sure Anandi gets married by hook or crook to Shiv..

If Shiv refuses, will Anandi feel rejected again (although she is not ready for this) ?

I still need to chew on this plot of the elders. Two wrongs don't make one right! The elders here are so consumed with trying to assuage their own guilt over their respective role that they are being blindsided by what is best for Anandi. Best intentions are fraught with disappointment. I can understand that they want their child to be happy and get a deserving partner but to put that kind of pressure is unnecessary , especially given the turmoil that she is coming out of and now the impending death of her beloved mother!😭

The precap showed her vehement rejection. So I have concerns about her agreeing to the marriage, if it does take place.😕

On hindsight, perhaps this is the only way to get Anandi to marry. Left to her own devices, she would rather be content with her work and "sasural" than marry again and leave the comfort of her own home, doing away with the familiar, embarking on a new life with a new individual and so on…

Perhaps Anandi will bend towards Shiv in time but the elders are hastening the process by forcing her hand. Perhaps they feel that Anandi will not come to the realization in time or that guys like Shiv will slip the proverbial net if not grabbed in time.

It's a tough call. Nevertheless, I truly hope that Shiv will have a heart-to-heart with her and seek her real intentions, giving her the opportunity to address any issues and also giving himself him the opportunity to assure her that he will not force the issue, giving her time to heal and trust him on that level.

Dixie - about our pseudo debate... the right word for Shiv maybe Charming! Truly fairytale types CHARMING! That said the debate is too fun for me to concede😛

Back on point. His NO... If he sits her down and has a heart to heart with her then the NO won't be rejection of her but, elevation of her wishes. That's the MAGIC Marhaam I want him to deliver.

Even I feel that this emotional atyachar.I agree that they wanted to see her happy and settled. But why do they have to push her into doing these things.

She just got out of a very painful relationship must be totally drained. How do they expect her to be happy if she is married in this kind of a situation?

All these people are married and they know what it takes to sustain a relationship and what it takes from you to make your marriage successful. Why can't they realise that she is in position to get married right now?

Bhago's dying can't be helped. Her concerns for her daughter are quite right and I have no problems if she extracted a promise from Anandi.I would have been happier if she made Anandi promise that she will make all the efforts to find happiness in life instead forcing her to agree for marriage.

Now only hope rests on Shiv.I hope at least he gives her time that she needs.

Ritzi - I have no issue with STRETCH...but, there are many ways to stretch and even using emotional blackmail of Anandi...It just feels like overdone unnecessary drama and zabardasti. They could have had Shiv meet Bhago... and not all this fall stuff and still placed Anandi under pressure. Bhago falling and Anandi promising to marry WHOMEVER she wants is unnecessarily melodramatic.

Also, don't understand why Bhairon is not SPEAKING UP for Anandi. Yes - Daadi is in rush rush rush...to get Anandi settled. But, Shiv understands the situation and is not in a rush. Bhairon should not have let things get this out of hand. Now hopefully Shiv will pull the Emergency Brake.

First she said No. Now maybe him. Next comes Mommy!
