Arnav tried to sleep but he was unable to. his mind was not stable the way she was hugging her, no one could have had the control to stop himself to touch her.
He looked at her lovingly. The swing of the air-conditioner was blowing her strips of her hair making her look eternal. He just couldnot take his eyes off from her. She looked beautiful, her flawless skin, her big lashes, her pretty eyes, her rosy lips, he touched her lips with the tip of his *thumb making her shift a little.
He lowered his lips and kissed her nose. her nose imidiately turned red as his stuble brushed it.
He wondered, it his mere stubble can cause so much redness then what is it all about her bruises. And those pills?
Does she have those pills regularly? if yes then it is not good for her. And why she never discussed that with him? It is not that she was shy, she discuss each and everything with arnav.
He didnot realise when it was morning. He saw her sleeping peacefully like a baby pouting her lips which touched his bare chest, her legs almost touched his manhood, her breast smashed againt his muscular form.
He heard the knock on the door.
He closed his eyes anticipating his sister to be on the door.
He quickly picked his tshirt which he has got last night, wore it after placing khushi in a decent manner pulling her nighty down cover her legs which were all bare when she was hugging him. He pulled the quilt on her and then opened the door.
Anjali who was busy tucking her top inside her jeans suddenly looked up, her smile vanished looking at Arnav.
Arnav: Di, i can explain.
Anjali's cute face turned to an angry lioness, just ready to growl at his brother.
Anjali: Chotey i cant believe it (she said throwing her hand on the air in frustration)
Aranv followed anjali down the staircase walking towards the kitchen.
Shyam who was hit by arnav who was loitering reading his morning newspapers.
Arnav: Oops...Sorry jijaji...
Shyam gripped him and brought back him holding his hand when arnav was trying to reach anjali in the kitchen.
Shyam: Kya hua sale sahab? (what happened brother-in-law?
Arnav: Jijaji woh me and khushi, we slept
Shyam: WHAT? (his expression of shock gradually changed to smile)
Arnav was confused.
Shyam hugged him: Finally sale sahab, you did it.
Arnav: No no jijaji...nothing like that. By slept i mean i was in her room yesterday.
Shyam in a disappointed voice said: Oh, i thought finally you guys thought of taking your so-called friendship to another level.
Arnav: Oh jijaji, why are you after our sweet life?
Arnav leaned onto shyam and whispered in his ears: Cant you see your situation?
Shyam tried to peep leaning backwards to see what anjali is doing and held his head in frustration: Dont mind saale sahab but i think you guys are better off. Roz ka khit pit uff just fed up with your sister.
Arnav touched his shoulder: I know jijaji, thats why i am so scared of relationships. We are just fine like this. Khushi is the last girl with whom i would like to make things ugly. You know how important she is for me. and she is my best friend so i cannot think about her like that.
Shyam: Bro but this is not only friendship
Anjali: Kyun samjhayega isse?
Arnav: Oh di not again!!! Di! please.
Anjali: I am not talking to you Chottey, please dont try to convince me. Again you broke the rule.
Arnav: Di, come out of this 19th century mentatily please.
Anjali: Chotty, please dont act like an a*s. We can stay in london but that doesnot mean we hav e become one of them. We are still indians.
Arnav: Di, its not about indians please...its about mentality. and dont tell me you guys didnot sleep before you and jijaji got married.
Anjali blushed looking at shyam.
Anjali: We did, but we were going steady throughout and tumlog ka koi ata pata hi nahi hai. BEST FRIENDS...uff i am fed up of this word now...you kiss each other, you sleep with each other, you fight no except fight. you breadth with each other, you guys change in front of each other and without any hezitation, whom are you trying to convince that its just friendship? and khushi? she is no less. how can she allow you to stay in her room.
Arnav cupped anjali's face: Di, we always used to sleep together since childhood, then what is the problem?
Anjali: Childhood is something else Arnav, now both of you are full grown, i hope someday you guys dont end up in a mess.
Arnav: Di PLEASE, for good sake! How can you think so cheap of us?
Anjali: Chottey i am not thinking anything cheap. both of you are playing with fuel, just the spark and everything will be burnt without you realising it.
Arnav: Di, we are not attracted to each other physically for good sake.
Khushi: Di, he is right.
Anjali: Tum to mujhse baat hi mat karo khushi.
Khushi hugged anjali from behind: Di kaal raat ko aisa kuch bhi nahi hua hai
Anjali: Kal raat ko nahi huya hai iska matlab yeh nahi ki kabhi nahi hoga.
Arnav: Di! why are you so mad?
Anjali: Chottey, if you dont want to think about yourself its fine, you are a guy but what about khushi? her life is not limited to you.
Both khushi and Arnav frowned and looked at each other then to anjali.
Khushi: Di, he is my everything.
Anjali: Till the time you are married or maybe you dont find your life partner.
Arnav held anjali's hand and turned her towards him.
Arnav: What did you say?
Anjali: Kabhi na kabhi she will marry someone right?
Arnav: NO
Khushi, Shyam and Anjali all was shocked the why he shouted NO.
Khushi imidiately knew that the discussion is going to turn in a dangerously ugly.
Anjali: What?
Arnav: She is not going to leave RM ever.
Anjali: Tum pagal ho gaye ho chottey.
Arnav: Di i am very serious.
anjali: She is your frined not your fience
Arnav: I know what she is, the bottom line is she belongs her and she will stay here forever.
Anjali: If the guy doesnot agree to be a ghar jamai.
Arnav smiled mockingly. Guy? agree? marriage? jab shaadi hi nahi hogi tab agree aur disagree ka sawal hi paida nahi hota hai. She is going to stay single and thats final. Neither she wants to get married nor i will let her marry anybody, she is free to do liven and all, sleep around with anybody but at the end of the day she has to return to RM and for your kind information it is already decided by me and khushi.
Anjali looked at khushi who nodded in approval.
Khushi: Di, arnav is right. i just cant leave you guys and go. you all are very precious to me.
Anjali: Khushi dont talk like an idiot.
Khushi: Di, i cant stay without arnav thats final. and its decided.
Anjali sat on the sofa holding her head, she lost all hope. she knew controling these two is beyond her capability but she always tried her best. but the relationship that arnav and khushi shared was beyond her imagination.
Arnav came and sat beside her carring her head: Di listen to me, please stop thinking about us now, we are grown ups and we know what we are doing. and trust me we are not going to cross our limits, for god sake believe us Di! we are JUST FRINDS maybe a little intimate ones but friend, we can never imagin ourselves sleeping together.
Khushi came and sat beside her: Yes Di, trust us. we will not break your trust at all. Never. This friendship is extremely precious.
Khushi touched arnav's hand and arnav held her head with the other hand pressing it.
Shyam: I think they are right rani sahiba. agar indono ke beech mein kuch huya hota to bohot pehle ho gaya hota. i dont find anything grose in their relatioship. its pure, its healthy and moreover its stress buster for both.
Arnav: Di, please maaf kar do ab
Khushi: Sorry di, but it was not his fault.
Arnav pressed her hand gesturing her to stop, not to tell about her drinking.
Khushi understood and looked down.
Anjali: Its ok both of you. mujhe tum dono pe pura bharosa hai.
Khushi leaned her head on her shoulder: Thanks Di!!!
Anjali touched her cheeks: You are my responsibilty khushi, i was just worried about you.
Arnav: More than you she is my responsibility di.
Khushi: enough!! I am not a Kid.
All four started laughing out loud.
