I've had this thought in my head for a long time... Right from when i heard that Drashti Dhami was going to be cast opposite Vivian Dsena in a new serial. From that moment on I felt that it was just plain WRONG. As a viewer I've never liked V D from the start i.e. from Pyaar ke yeh ek kahani onwards. Drashti Dhami and V D as a pair does not click according to me and I think majority of the Viewers feel the same but do not accept it. The only reason PKYEK had success was because it was riding on the Twilight saga fame. Madhu-Mukund story line seems more right and RK is better suited as a Negative character. The character of Mukund should be made stronger like a strong pillar of support and true love for Madhu throughout her journey in film industry.
On a further note how could anyone think someone as beautiful as Drashti Dhami looks great with V D who looks like Frankenstein had undergone cosmetic surgery to look more like a super model than an actor. I mean the Gurmeet-Drasthi pair felt almost magical and just felt right and not to mention both their acting was spot on. And i was expecting her next project to be with some one that could recreate the same kind of magic. But the casting guy and the producer has let down on that part. It is a huge disappointment according to me.
