Maan: Geet but I consider you more than a friend………. I know the mistake I have done……..

At the same time Geet received the call…….

Geet: Hello……. Ok Ok done….. Good…….. Ya……. Hmm…… Theek hai I will keep the phone now……..

Geet keeps the phone down……… and was about to walk out…..

The drive was complete silent……… Maan would try to say something but Geet would just cut him…… Maan finally got irritated and stop the car at the corner of the road……… Geet looked around and then saw Maan who was just staring at her……… That one look was enough for Geet to just fall for him…… But she composed herself and looked other way…….. Maan had a smirk smile on his face………

Maan (in his thought): So Madam par kuch kuch asar ho raha hai…..

Seeing that the car is not moving Geet turned to him and said without looking into his eyes……….

Geet: Why did you stop the car here???

Maan: So that I can talk to you???

Geet: But I said I don't want to talk to you and start the car…… I am getting late……..

Maan: But I am not…. So till the time you will not forgive me I am not going to move…….. Do whatever you want to do………

Geet: theek hai then I will take a cab and go….. you keep standing here……..

Geet started opening the door but Maan hold her hand and started caressing it…….. Something was happening to her which she was not able to say……… She just jerked her hand………

Maan looked at her and said: It is ok Geet…… I know I have done a big mistake…… I will drop you to college…… you don't have to go in cab……

Maan started the car and drop her to college………. She did not even say bye to him…… He was really hurt for the first time……. He so much wanted Geet to wish him but she never did………

Finally dejected he left for the office…… He was just feeling restless……..

On the other side as soon as Maan left from the college Geet called Yash to pick her up……….

Maan was just irritating at himself…….. No one in the office also wished him seeing his mood…………..

Maan seating in his cabin leaning on his chair thinking: I have started loving you Geet…….. If I don't see you or you don't talk to me you don't know how it affects me…….. Because of my mistake today Geet is angry on me……… She did not even wish me……… But how do I pacify her……… I have to do something………. I will wait for her to come to the office……… She has not put any leave application so she will definitely come………..

Maan thought was broken by a phone call……..

Maan: Ha Yash bolo……..

Yash: Bro who actually…….. He was fumbling while talking……..

Maan: Yash kya baat hai????

Yash: Actually bro nothing I am coming to office……….

And kept the phone…….. Maan got very tensed and tried calling them but was not reachable……… He also tried Geet's no but her phone was switched off……….. He was pacing up and down in the office making hell for others……… He was screaming on one of the employees when he saw Yash coming……..

Maan took Yash to his cabin and started screaming and Yash was politely listening to him….. Finding no answer…….

Maan: Yash why are you not saying anything???

Yash: Relax Bro……. Why are you so hyper??? I to called you because we need go out…….

Maan: Out???

Yash bites his tongue……… (self talk): yeh Geet ne kaha fasa diya…….. He recollect what happen in the afternoon……..

Flashback

Geet: Yash you have to ensure that Maan does not reach early………..

Yash: But why would he reach early???

Geet: He will, I am telling you……… He won't able to stay in office

Yash (smirking) : Oyee hoyee kya confidence…………. Kya baat hai……. Kahi kuch gadbad to nahi……….

Geet (shy): Just shut up……… You do what I am telling you to do…………. And agar kuch gadbad ki to mujhse bura koi nahi samja……….

Yash: How will I stop him???

Geet: It is your headache……….. Now call him and tell that you are coming to pick up as we have to go out………..

Yash calls Maan……..

Maan: Ha Yash bolo……..

Yash: Bro who actually…….. He was fumbling while talking……..

Geet pulls Yash and says in his ears if you fumble this way he will doubt talk to him properly……..

Yash forcefully takes Maan to a Mall……. Maan does not want to buy anything but Yash bought a beautiful watch for him…….. They were almost till late evening………

Finally Maan said………

Maan: Now can we go Yash…… Please I want to go home……….

Yash calls Geet and tells that now it is impossible to stop Maan but Geet said to bring him everything is ready………..

They reach home and when they were about enter Yash just skips from there leaving Maan alone………. The light just goes off………

Maan: What happen to light???

As he entered he heard a noise………..

And the lights come…… Maan is just stunned at the decoration and looks around to see all family members and the office staff………. Savitri comes and wishes Maan so does others……….

Maan: Mom yeh sab…………

Savitri: Yeh sab Geet ne kiya…….. Now that we could not do it at night so a small party for our Maan……..

Maan had tears in his eyes and hug Savitri…..: Sorry Mom for what ever I have done……

Savitri wipes his tears and says: No Maan………. Now just stop this and let us enjoy the party………

Maan looks here and there for Geet……… and he is stunned to see Geet in a beautiful saree………

Geet comes near him and says: Maan…….. Happy Birthday Maan……….

Maan just twist his lips and does not say anything……

Geet (holding her ears): Sorry Maan……. Who I did not wish you in the morning na please maaf kardo…….

Maan removes her hand from the ears: Nahi Geet…….. I am sorry Geet…….. Because of me your plan was spoiled yesterday night………

Geet: agar kal raat ko celebration ho jata to aaj ki surprise party kaise hoti…… Now chalo we will cut the cake………The cake was bought

Maan cut the cake and fed Savitri first and then to Geet and then to Yash……. Geet fed her back…….. so did Savitri and Yash

Geet was having the cake and laughing and Maan who was standing was just lost in her……… He noticed that little cake was there near her lips…… Geet noticed that Maan is looking at her……..

Geet: Maan what happen…….

Maan just moved his hand near her lips and remove the cake from there and tasted it……..: It is just too tasty…..

Geet just lowered her head….. She was shy to look at him……..

Geet: I will just come……..

Geet was about to move Maan hold her……

Maan: Mera Birthday Gift Geet………..

Geet: Who gift……….

Maan: Ha gift……. You did not give me………

Geet: I will just come………

She goes in her room and returns with something……..

Geet: Maan this is for you………. She gives it too Maan and gives a small peck on his cheeks and runs away from there……….

Maan was stunned to with this and holds his hand on his cheeks…….

Maan(self talk): This was the best gift……….. He opens a box and finds a wonderful shirt…….. and a letter saying My first gift from my own income to my husband……..

Maan caresses the shirt……….
