^ while it does look distasteful... it does have a basis.

I won't try and claim to know specifics, but there IS that age-old notion that some people use funerals as a passing river to wash their hands in, ESPECIALLY in dark and dirty industries

That's complete nonsense! Akki has really supported him and even news channels are saying; "who says he hasn't got a son?" Akki played the role of a son in his life and he was always there for Kaka when he needed him.
