Competition for Angad? Karthik

I've been spending an unduly large amount of time trying to
figure out how to break the inevitability of AK&KS. And I'm
going to say this outright: it _can't_ be Prithvi, just can't. The
guy's a saint and a brother and well, plain!, in his intentions;
KS had a shot at grabbing him (actually getting him thrust down
her life) and she didn't really even consider it.

Now Karthik -- there's a deep, complex character. He's never
been hostile to Kripa, even been appreciative of her, much more
so than the knee-jerk rejection of earlier AK reactions. He's tall,
dark, brooding and as much in need of a hug as AK, and didn't
even have his grandmother paying him that much attention.
What is more: he has AK's genes! :-)

Today, AK has got it all figured out: how to deal with KS's walling
him out, her fight to get the better of all things Angad, even a
resigned acceptance that Prithvi, the brother, might end up being
with KS all her life. But he will get so badly thrown out of the loop
if Karthik was to make the moves on her.

I mean think about it: Karthik started his participation in the whole
charade to get back at his little brother and to get his mom's attention
back on him, AK's not exactly hiding the fact that he is still wearing
his heart on his sleeve for KS from his family, the Dark Side of the
Force is still showing no sympathy or love for Karthik as compared
with her obsession with AK -- all Karthik's motivations still hold if he
goes after and gets KS.

Gee, this is a seriously good thought -- I'm practically rubbing my
hands in glee!

The downside of this, of course, is that it gives the producers and writers
of the show, a lot more scope to drag it out. While despite all my evil
machinations, I just want AK&KS to just down to the inevitable and cuddle
like they did before. They make seriously good cuddlers...

Kartik, he is black sheep of the family. I sont see how he could get the coveted award( err, I meant Kripa) in face of stiff competition from our dashing romeos Angad & Prithvi. Kripa will seriously need her head checked, if she even considers it😔

But I agree with the cuddling part. I am surte they will win the

"Cuddlers of the Year Award" for 2005😃

Your train of thought is not tooo wild considering Ekta's penchant for turning tables midstream and making gud guyz evil and bad boys gud ..... so it is just possible that Karthik's character may redeem himself somehow (by hook or by crook) in Kripa's eyes and he may eventually get close to her .... only to convince her that marrying him is actually the best thing for her to do .....

But this maynot happen anytime soon ... as the plot du jour seems to be to make Kripa a big super star ....

But imagine the fireworks .... if Kripa ends up being Angad's Bhabi ..... ( and def off-limits to him) ... wont that be the perfect revenge for Karthik.... ???

To define the black sheep, we have to figure out from whose point of view!
:-) I think that AK is the black sheep of his family from his family's point
of view, no?

This entire story line will only work if Karthik is really focussed on getting
back at AK. In the few parts that I got to see him, he came across as a
VERY frustrated individual, who almost looked like he had nothing to lose.

And, if as someone else suggested, KS is going to become a huge rockstar,
he can always weasel his way into her life by offering to become her
manager (or something)? That will be the start of the end of all things
nice and wonderful... (evil laughter in the background)

Oh, I DO hope our snugglebunnies will get back together quickly before
Karthik thinks up this story line! :-)
