Dosti Aur Pyaar

Hey all....

I've mentioned earlier that I'll be starting my new fanfic soon....well, it's called Dosti aur Pyar. Here is a brief description of my characters...

Jai - 22 years of age, intelligent, young, handsome and the hot shot of college. All the girls at college fall for him, since he is sooo hot... has a best best best friend [Bani] who he spends most of his time with. Sort of a pair like Rahul and Anjali in KKHH. Speaks his heart out most of the time, has a very gentle and caring heart. Is very protective of his little brother, who is just about to finish high school. Looking forward to settling his own home with a modern girl, no old-fashioned... too desi girlll... in short, he's looking for a typical Bani. Does believe in love, but not sure if he has fallen in love yet. Is a very good example for his lil brother, therefore not the kind who's always crazy after girls at college.... Comes for a prestigious, wealthy family in the society. Has one motto in life.... with great power comes great responsibiliy, and with great responisbility come great outcomes..

Bani - 22 years of age, smart pretty, and very self-respecting. Is not very talkative, but does get along with people well. Can get too emotional sometimes.... and would do anything for Jai, her best friend. Studies in almost all the classes as Jai. Very assertive, young girl. Has a kind, gentle behaviour. Comes from a middle-class family. Has a big sister who is married, but has suffered alot after the marriage. First, losing her husband in a plane crash, then losing her child in a miscarriage. Bani keeps blaming her sister's husband due to his bad habits of drinking, for which he caused her sister's miscarriage. Bani has also been affected by these incidents, therefore has lost trust over the desicion of getting married. Leans over Jai's shoulder for help sometimes, but at the same time is self-respective. Believes in herself all the time, is very confident. Believes, "The way to develop self-confidents is to do the thing you fear." - confidence quote by William Jennings Bryan

Priya - New to college, becomes a great friend of Bani and Jai. Priya comes from a wealthy family, and slowly starts falling in love with Jai. Pretty, and a fashion diva. Is smart in school, but not as much as Bani. Since she is the only child in the family, is sort of spoiled. Later on during the story, finds out that she has an ugly past she has to deal with if she wants to move forward in the new friendship she's discovered.

Raj - Son of Bani's father's friend. Bani's father as chosen him for Bani's marriage. Handsome young man, and very kind. Not much about him, since he plays a smaller role than Bani, Jai or Priya.
