After her r at h e r t h a n d a
Bollywood debut "Khatta Meetha", one would assume that Trisha would be happy to grab any Hindi offer that promised to give her a second chance. But it seems like the lady is in no hurry to make a mark in Btown, after all. Barely days after creating a flutter in the filmy circles by saying 'no' to director KS Ravikumar's Hindi remake of the Tamil film "Saamy", starring Sanjay Dutt, Trisha has now gone ahead and turned down yet another Bollywood offer. This time, she said no to her close friend Prabhu Dheva.
There was a strong buzz that Trisha has been roped in to play the female lead in the Bollywood remake of Telugu superhit "Nuvvosthanane Nenoddantana". However, official sources confirm that the pretty lady is still in the 'I'll pass this one too, thank you' mood, as she cannot accommodate bulk dates for the project.
When contacted, Trisha's mom Uma Krishan confirmed the news. "We cannot sign the film since the makers have asked for bulk dates, which we cannot accommodate. The dates for the Bollywood film clash with the dates of our current commitments. So we are not signing the film."
It's said that Shruti Haasan is likely to replace Trisha in Prabhu Dheva's film, which has Kumar Taurani's (of TIPS fame) son Krish playing the male lead.
