SG's - Good episode, one which I thought was initially ok but loved it as I penned my thoughts. Talk about balancing your life with 2 brats😆 One crazy adorable who you want to just control and keep her in your collection like she was a priced possession; love her like nobody's business, buy her the most expensive gifts not wanting to express your feelings in words just actions...😆

The other is just a crybaby who happens to be a sister. You have to bear with your annoying siblings, disown them or sue your parents for emotional atyachar😆 Interesting to see how he handles 2 women so dear to his heart. Will he crush the hopes of the weakest (Khushi)? I say weakest for Khushi coz her genuine goodness to see Di happy will prove to be her biggest weakness and Anjali may at some point use that against her At that point Khushi will gladly walk away...Will Arnie go after her? This will be his biggest challenge thus far...

I take my earlier claim back, she is no disturbed woman. She is simply in denial. One who blames the other woman, one who has put her husband on a pedestal, one who thinks she has lost her bro to his wife🤢 Talk about ASR being grey, this one will be greyer unless nani slaps her silly...I was willing to give her the benefit of doubt when she thought chote chose to celebrate his wife's birthday over grieving his sis's loss.

Fair accusation once you get past the thought that Missy has no etiquette and she thinks it is ok to barge into their bedroom. She knows little about the circumstances, she is justified in believing her husband over Khushi. So far there is no proof against Shyam; she only saw scenes implicating Khushi and the clever Shyamu did an excellent job at deception. But when I saw the FB scene at the mandir - "meri asli duniya tho aap ho..." and when she said "apni Di se zyaada Khushiji maine rakthi hai" that is where my Anjali justification stopped. It wasn't about Arnie's doting on his wife Khushi, who happened to be the other woman in her life. It was about Anjali not being the center of chote's duniya...I rest my case...The woman is not mentally sick, she is plain sick.

Enough commentary😆 Onto the celebration which I really loved. It was their first real private moment as husband and wife, a date of sorts😳 It was a beautiful interaction. Both being in their comfort zone; she takes the liberty to throw tantrums and he letting her indulge for a little bit and then trying to control her by force. There was no fear or hatred this time; they were just being a normal couple (Arhi normal to be precise😉); one hurt and the other trying to make it up to her.

The bouquet scene went as expected; Khushi losing out on a thoughtful gift. He knew one thing about his wife, she loved red roses. But it wasn't meant to be. But like a typical husband and wife, this time they connected. They were in sync...😳

His eyes lingered and she smiles in approval...Beautiful silent communication...They will have plenty of these moments together...😍

PH seems to really have caught onto the essence of the show that once was. Yes, the Payal-Khushi scene was beautifully done👏 The sisters just light up in each others presence and are a joy to watch. NK scene another winner👏 He will always be there for her with ASR listening in...She sacrificed to see a smile on his sister's face...This time he knows she doesn't do it to be called mahaan...She is simply Khushi...😳

Khushi walks into see the pool decorated but there wasn't the joy in her face. Khushi forgives him easily for not saying sorry when he says the unthinkable but doesn't forgive him for not wishing her on her birthday Should I consider it as typical husband-wife relationship? Sometimes you back off from serious situations to avoid getting hurt or hurting your loved one but make a big deal over little things, like forgetting your birthday or in this case not wishing😆

Like the last time Khushi pushed him to call Garima, amma; this time Khushi pushes him to wish her. But he doesn't. That irks her and she was just unforgiving from this point on. Both wouldn't relent.

A: "Khushi mein yeh last time kar raha hun; jaldi se candle bhuja dho aur cake kaato...Do as I say..."😆

K: "Aap aaj ke din bhi LG bane rahenge...aap humhara janam din mana rahe hai ya dhamki de rahe hai... Humhare haath mein cha
aku mat dijiye; humhara maata itna gharam hai hum iska koyi bhi istemal kar sakthe hai..."
🤣

Would it kill him to say Happy Birthday? She ignores all the things he did; the lighting, the cake, the bag, the flowers to hear those magic words that never came...Khushi just being a brat and he the knucklehead!
Both true to character; cute nok-jhok being the CV intent 👏He grabs her and makes a protesting Khushi cut the cake and eat it too. Signature ASR style😆

Khushi threatening to ruin his b'day with macchar coils, no ac and mithai over a smiling ASR... They should have broken the ice here with ASR laughing instead, would have been a nice touch.

But Khushi is upset over her simple desire of being wished by him. What drove her to do this was the La line; he had never wished anyone on their b'day. She wanted to be that special someone. She wanted to be the one person, the only exception....😳😳😳 Khushi a believer in true love expects him to be a changed man. Changed he has but can't quite still put it in words, just actions...😆 Somethings just stick; sooner she accepts it, sooner she will find her happily ever after...😳

What was cute was she openly shows how upset she was, haq se...No contract hanging between them, she was his wife and it was her right to lash out...😳 Him being in Arnie mode; he knows he was at fault too and will take it upon himself and make it up to her...😍 Two very flawed people, yet perfect for each other...Simply enjoyed it!

Side note:Joey wants the SG's to make a pledge - We the SGs do solemnly swear to not expect or anticipate anything from upcoming episodes of IPK. We all are human and regardless of our stern stance, we are suckers for spoilers. However, we hereby declare to take the spoilers with a grain of salt and not discuss them at the hangout. We also pledge our allegiance to each other and in the event one of us derails, we will be there to bop her on the head with a danda. All say I do.

Another good episode giving us an indication of the possible future tracks. Payal the loving sister, gives her heartfelt "hamesha, hamesha, hamesha..Khush raho" was heartwarming - nice to see the focus back on Gupta sister's bonding. NK wishes Khushi and informs her that he will always be there for her - who would not want such a friend like NK? 😃

Gul ji ka badla in full force in the cake cutting scene with Khushi being obstinate in not going near it while Arnav trying desperately to get her to eat the cake. Khushi does not want materialistic expensive things that do not mean anything, all she longs for is a simple heartfelt happy birthday from Arnav that she can cherish forever.

It was a much need crash landing back to reality for Anjali. From denial she is now forced to accept reality - a much needed visual for her as she revisits the conversations from the confrontation night - something she has avoided/blocked all this time.

She has always been the cynosure of both Arnav and Shyam's world - or that is at least what she had imagined. In the span of few days her dreams have been broken into smithereens, the ultimate straw being watching her brother celebrate with Khushi when it is one of the darkest hours in her life. She has been dealt with blow after blow the last few days and is totally broken at this point. Daljeet was very good today.

From the beginning of IPK, it has always been about Shyam cheating on Anjali. Once the truth was revealed, if any one expected Anji to welcome Khushi with open arms, then I would say "come out of your sanpno ke duniya" 😉. Her husband who treated her like a queen and made her forget her handicap, her brother for whom only she existed and nobody else mattered - both relations are have been subjected to a rude awakening because of Khushi. Her fear of rejection and insecurities are now coming back. It is going to be very interesting to see if she directs the frustration towards Arnav or not?

The drama if anything, will make Arhi bond stronger and thrive during the testing times. It is the agni pareeksha for Arnav not Khushi. Anji will come to know about Khushi's innocence in her own way in due time and will be jolted again like she was today, till then stormy waters ahead!!

A special shoutout to Doc for organizing the ME sharthing and to all the SG's for being good sports about losing and changing your DP/signatures accordingly. 👏

I have learnt my lesson, always watch an episode with no expections you will enjoy it much more.

Episode starts where we left off with Anjali thinking the flowers are for her, Arnav does not have the heart to tell her they are not but Khushi fortunately understands. Khushi knows those were for her but like she later told NK, it brought a smile to Anjali's face and that is all that mattered to her. No wonder Arnav loves her so much

Have I said how much I love NK??? NK referring to Khushi as Mrs. KKGSR, I love it!! He's such a sweetheart and his friendship with Khushi is a treat to watch. It looks Arnav accepts it as well since he did not look the least bit jealous with NK's gift to Khushi, he knows that Khushi only loves her Laad Governor.

So Khushi lights up seeing Arnav's surprise but the fact he still won't say Happy Birthday quickly dampers her mood. For Khushi no gift, no surprise could mean as much to her as his heartfelt wish but is this all that is bothering her?? There seems to be more behind Khushi's pain, could it be the contract marriage that she never expected to hear about again?? Hopefully we will get a clearer image of what is going through her mind in the next episode.

The cake scene was adorable and completely in character for these two, I actually preferred things this way as it didn't end up being cheesy. It was the perfect scene for ARHi, who are your typical jodi. Khushi is annoyed while Arnav tries to his best to pacify her, it was cute. I especially liked the part where she is mumbling and he is just amused by her anger.

That's it, that room needs to come with a lock! Anjali barges in without knocking and realizes its Khushi's birthday. If there was any doubt who Anjali blamed for everything, that was cleared today. Before Anjali just blamed Khushi for Shyam despite everything she heard and now she blames Khushi for taking away Arnav as well. Anjali who used to be the center of attention for Arnav is now no longer his first priority, now its Khushi and rightfully so. Khushi has been through hell and back for Arnav and most recently had to hear the most painful words from him, she deserves the love and attention she is getting now. If Anjali dares to say or do anything to Khushi she will regret it, Khushi is not going anywhere in Arnav's life, he will not let her.

SARI!!! OMG your take is better than the episode itself!!!! 🤗

I watch the show for the show but more than that I watch for the SG's 😃

As the show started today the thought of Didi ki Saut struck back in my mind but realistically thinking about it all I think this is more Didi Bani Sautan than anything else! I understand the trauma and denial phase Anjali is in...for any woman to go thru this in a normal state would be difficult but to bear it all being Pregnant adds many levels of complexity to her already confused mind-set but thats all Anjali is getting from me! I am sympathetic towards her emotions but her behavior towards Arnav and Khushi needs to change for her to get anything more from me.

Anjali Shyam Jha needs to wake up from her own La-La land and realize that this is not all about her! This is about a cheating man who deceived not only her but her Sister in Law and their respective families. There is a LOT MORE here than just her and her child at stake. There are other relationships that need care and mending and her behavior is tearing her entire family apart is something she needs to wake up and see.

The scene between Arnav and Anjali is beautiful and Anjali is the third wheel and Arnav sent that message clearly across to Khushi on how it is. The Roses were indeed for his lady love...right now this other woman who happens to be his sister just has the roses and Arnav both in her arm's and soon enough both will be where they clearly belong...with Khushi. ❤️ Yup this realization just came to me now...total duh...Flower+Arnav=Happy Khushi! 😃

Jiji-Khushi moment was wonderful really! Thank you to whoever is reading our bickering day in and day out! I love the sisterly bond...I have a younger sister and I know she loves me to pieces and birthday's are always special and this was beautifully done! 👏

Khushi and NK are soul mates of another kind...the kind you cherish for ever...the kind that makes friendship's proud...the kind people talk about forever like Jai and Veeru from Sholay. He is the Bharat of this story and his loyalty to Arnav will always hold them all together. 👍🏼 NK asks Khushi about the flower's and asks her is she is fine Khushi the giver loves the fact that Arnav gave the flowers to Di and te flowers a small gesture made Di happy that indeed made Khushi happy and Arnav watches from far in amazement that how someone can be so innocent, naive and lovable all at the same time. 😍 This nice Khushi and all is kinda making me go dizzy...In this day and age to see these qualities like this is rare...sigh...girl is a total Jhalli! 😆

Surprise pe Surprise pe Surprise...Now onto the BIG one of it all...NK pushes KKGSR into her room closes the door (THANK the lord for this someone has a brain here!) and Khushi look's around all happy and excited at what is in front of her...the pool side lit up with twinkly lights in the shape of pom, poms , a cake and from the shadows of it all Arnav...she smile's and is shy...and this was just lovely! They have their issues and their problems but they have their love to hold them together. The bag, the cake, the light's and the ambience is a means to celebrate but all she really wants is a wish. A birthday wish like none other...one that makes her feel like she belongs in his heart and his life. A wish that she will cherish for ever and one he will cherish forever too because this will be one they will never forget ...EVER! 😍

Overall...a great episode...a lot was said and a lot was done...but the Happy Birthday still remains to be said...he will say it...again in his own way and yet again we wait for another day...Chalo ASR bol bhi do...ab bahot hogaya Intezaar 😉

Song of the night...something that reminded me of it all...I hope you all like it 😊

Sugar's take...

Heya!!

I'm going to to keep it short and sweet today. We're not too far from the day of judgement for Arnav Singh Raiazada, which I assume is Rakhshabandhan.

Anjali will get a serious reality check on Teej and she won't be able to stand it. I did get a glimpse of the awakening of a vengeful Anjali SIngh Raizada today at the end, much like we had one from her brother the day he breakdown before his wedding.
Anjali will pull one on him and ask for her Shyam-ji back and ask Arnav to leave Khushi as she is responsible for all her sorrows and Arnav deserves better.

Arnav fought with his di to let Lavanya live in the house as his live in girlfriend. Need I say more on what he's capable of doing for the woman he loves more than life itself?

I look forward to seeing Anjali's reaction when this round goes to Khushi 😊

Oh and welcome to "QBWAGAS". I'm a little scared that GH might come here and go off at me for having a group like that dedicated to our, uhmmm loss of patience with Anjali.

A monday episode that sets the trend for the track... love in the times of Di.
For me at this point, these 3 characters are as real as it gets in an Indian soap. All 3 trying to find their place in their loved one's lives, trying to find their happy place.
Khushi is demanding her space in Arnie's life as not just his wife but as THE woman in his life. She wants to know her place in his life and is demanding he acknowledge that place she occupies. So what if the fight is seemingly about him giving her the words "Happy Birthday"? What she really wants is for him to admit that there is more than a contract marriage at work here, there is the connection between them that takes precedence over all the other issues they are fighting over at the moment. And he knows it. He knows what she wants, finds himself unable to give it to her and is therefore bending over backwards to give her a special birthday moment.
So he plans for a private celebration at the poolside, decorated as she did her GH room during NYE, a cake, a bouquet of her favorite flowers, everything that would show her that indeed there is more than just a contract at work, brought up only to make her stay. And though Khushi doesn't mind the flowers being given to Anji instead, in fact it actually earns Arnie some brownie points that he promptly loses as soon as stumbles with the words again.
So there they are, him wanting her to accept what he is giving her and know what it really means and her knowing what it really means but wanting him to admit it. And neither of them ready to back down. And how cute it is to see them fighting all over again. Chuhe billi ka khel.
Yeh sab maine arrange kiya hai, Now do as I say...
Way to go there, Arnie boy. She won't bite and he forces her to cut the 'damn' cake and force feeds her the cake. One thing this whole setup surely wasn't was cheesy. 😆
Khushi's threat to make him eat dher saari mithayian, turn the AC off and put on the machar agarbatti was as hilarious as it was cute and Arnie's reaction to that... aww... almost made me forget my annoyance at the hair. Almost.
The world outside has to intrude of course and Di is a witness to Arnie's attempt to give his wife this moment.
A lonely and lost Di thinks she has found an anchor again in chotte's attempt to make her smile. So what if the flowers were not from her Shyamji. She has her chotte, in whose life she is still as important and where she still belongs.
An uplifted anji makes kheer for her chotte, maybe a thank you for the flowers, maybe a moment to be shared with someone as important if not more important to her as Shyam. And she walks into his room, confident that she belongs there, only to find him busy finding his place with his wife.
And thus begins Anji's slide into the dark side, where she suddenly finds herself without her husband, who is her identity and on seemingly shaky ground with her brother, who is her anchor. How could Khushi be more important to chotte when his Di is falling apart?? How could he forget what she is going through, what has happened to her??
Arnie boy's asli duniya is going to come calling pretty soon...

Hi Sari and SG's!

Sari; absolutely loved your take. You have wonderfully captured the essence of the episode and beautifully expressed yourself👏👏

A wide variety of emotions displayed today; everyone including the supporting characters put up great performances. A lot of small scenes woven well together worked in taking the story forward today.

Let me start off with Anjali; I have seen a very close friend suffer the betrayal of her husband who was her life and that left her shattered for a long time; so I can relate to Anjali's character. What a lot of people seem to be missing out on is that it has barely been a couple days since her world has come crumbling down; she needs time and space to recover. I think more than jealous she is insecure; this is a fragile weak lady who has probably lived through a broken home and shattered relationships only to have found support in her sibling to overcome the odds and start afresh. When her world comes crashing down again; she fears that she may have lost her brother's support too and that to to the same woman who is the cause of her beloved hubby's betrayal. Yes we are right in the middle of the didi ki saut track so to say. If only the CV's reduce the screen time a crying and seemingly jealous Anjali gets; and not put her scenes right in the middle of the ARHI ones, I'll be happy to let them tell their story the way they want to.

I really liked Khushi's scenes and Payal and NK. I'm glad her sister has resurfaced and NK continues to remain a true friend; hopefully 2 more people who will stand by Khushi no matter what👍🏼.

I had mixed feelings about the ARHI scene today; while I loved the little surprise he planned, her smile when she sees the decorations and realizes he has done this for her, enjoyed the nok-jok which was vintage ARHI; I was a little disappointed with the way the scene ended with her walking away in anger😲. Khushi's anger and the zabardasti cake cutting and feeding seemed a little forced to me today. It seemed inconsistent that the girl who understood so well that Arnav gave the flowers to his Di to bring a smile to her face, the one who understood his silence at the pool and stairscase the night they got back; failed to see his true feelings and the effort he took to bring a smile to Khushi's face. While I was with her at not appreciating the bag as his gift; I wish that after the initial squabble, Khushi was able to make Arnav actually say "Happy Birthday" and appreciate the effort he "dil se" made for her and then they share a small romantic moment. It kind of took me back to his first "sorry" scene where initially he is unable to say the words but Khushi goads him into actually expressing himself. Anyways a few more attempts to manaofy his lady cannot hurt and Khushi deserves the attention she is getting😉. The SBS segment shows that we have an interesting arhi scene coming up so I will patiently wait for it😊.

One last thing in defense of Anjali; yes she needs to stop barging into her married brothers room; but atleast she did not interrupt them. She was heartbroken to see that her Chote is giving so much importance to his wife at a time when she is facing the biggest crisis of her life; but at least she walks away and breaks down in her room and does not butt in or create a scene. That to me would have been difficult to watch; here I will give her the benefit of the doubt because she is insecure, lonely and scared for her and her baby's future and is coming to terms with a lot of new realities in her life. ARHI are in for an uphill battle and I really hope that while the Anjali track plays out; ARHI are not shown to be bickering at each other all through; let's please see some of the love and understanding they so aptly shared while they were miles apart.

Today's bak bak. Someone mighty wise who is far far (approximately 8000 miles) away from me told me today that I have some serious hormonal imbalance so please read the following at your own risk:

My on-going naara: Gaaon walo! Di and Khushi kay beech main ASR chakki peeesssiiinnnggg...

1. Khushi - So here is this girl who has always sacrificed something for her loved ones and her so-called loved ones are not even aware of it! Everything she has done for her family, her sister, her SIL - none of these people have got a clue what she has been through and the selfless idiot she is, she doesn't want them to know. The only person who knows what she has done for him, the only person whom she expects to know what she has done for him, lashes out on her, tells her she doesn't mean anything and tells her she is nothing but a temporary fixture in his life. How do you expect that girl to respond? She never asks for anything from anyone but this one person, who means the world to her, this one person whom she thought she can trust, is it unfair to expect this person to understand her and give her what she needs? especially after everything she has been through for him? Jo bhi hai, Jo bhi tha... it has to mean more than a piece of paper. The hurt runs deeper than the river but doesn't flow as calmly. Somewhere something is bound to fall through cracks.

2. Arnav Singh Raizada - You are and will always be at a crossroads in your life. If it isn't between two people, it will be between your dil and dimagh because that's who you are and I get it. I told you before, karma is a bitch so now you have to deal with it. Some harsh words were said to you today but everything pales in comparison to what you have done. Even if your heart is in the right place, dues have to be paid and you are no different. I do feel for you. I guess keep at it, one day one of you will crack or not. Whatever floats your boat!

3. Anjali - So finally your true color is starting to show. I'd had hoped for a baby bump to show but I guess that's transparent so for now I have to deal with your personality. I can sympathize with your plight but I can't empathize with you. Why the kolaveri against your brother only? Why a selective denial? Why for a second you are not thinking about other members of the family who did not stop your brother from shattering your life? He did render the verdict but no one else objected. If you had turned into a universal grey for everyone, I would have loved you because that is human nature. But for the TRP sake, you are aiming at the brats only. That is a rather tough pill to swallow.

The story:
My biggest issue was with the proportion of the content and the pace of what has happened in the last week. The story is getting too convoluted and no matter where you look, there is a rift, misunderstanding, lack of communication. The leads and the parallel leads are all suffering from the same end result albeit different reasoning. Whoever wanted a Terrace 360, got their wish. I understand Anjali's angle has to be explored but did it require half of the episode to be dedicated to it? The whole Anjali angle is also getting a bit creepy the way it has been executed. CVs need to be careful and differentiate between affection and intimacy. They are treading a fine line here. Also, it was a bit awkward for her to walk in on an intimate moment, it would have been even more awkward if in her FBs she saw similar moments with Shyam. Explore the jealousy angle but cautiously choose the scenarios.

A note to CV:
I am either way too dumb or far too intelligent to understand this show. I am utterly confused if these characters are purely fictional or if they are supposed to show nuances of reality. I am also quite puzzled at what is being shown vs. what I was promised. Regardless of my IQ and the point of view I take, I only see biwi ki saut or as you publicly declare, didi ki saut. I was asked to give you a benefit of the doubt which I did but did I benefit from my act? I don't think so. Let me put it in the lingo that you understand: Baat sahi ya galat ki nahi hai, baat yaqeen ki hai. So the idiot I am, I actually bought into the whole zara hatke story and all. Within the last week you have managed to tease me enough and rob me enough of the very premise that was promised to me as a viewer. Like a layman viewer, I have pacified myself with whatever you have shown so far because of the yaqeen and the promise. But if today is the indication of what's to come, I find it very hard to keep my end of the bargain when you clearly are not keeping yours. I also understand that this is your baby and I am no one, I repeat no one to tell you how to raise your baby. So if your baby can only thrive on baby food laced with TRP boosters, than I apologize for even expecting your baby to be receptive to intellectual food that a non-TRP viewer craves. The fault resides with me and with me solely. I will forever be grateful to the mighty wise (same one mentioned above) for enlightening me with the truth i.e. I am in control of my sanity; it is called moving your mouse to the top right corner of your browser and clickin on 'x' and using YT for other stuff. Dekhna hai to dekho nahi to...

As I promised doc 2 poems - here is what my brain spat today:

kash tum samajh saktay
unkahay ehsass ko, meray jazbat ko
aankhon main chupi hur uss baat ko
jo main nay nahi kahi hai
aur keh bhi di hai
kash tum samajh saktay
roshni aur taraon kay beech
abhi bhi andhera hai
aur dur, bohat dur sawera hai
saweray ki ore badhain bhi to kaisay
ranjishain mittain bhi to kaisay
undekhi deewar jo tum nay banaye hai
deewar kay charon taraf ai khai hai
tum tak pohnchoon kaisay
kuch sochoon samjhoon kaisay
ajeeb kashmakash ka haal hai
nazron main thehra aik sawal hai
kiya tum samajh pao gai?

*****************************************************

kash tum samajh sakti
main kaun hoon, main kiya hoon
main kiya tha, kiya ban gaya hoon
tumharay chehray ki woh muskurahat
aik pal ki nazdeeki ki woh rahat
meray wajood ka yaqeen dilati hai
kash tum samajh sakti
main do tukdon main bata hoon
aik dorahay per khadha hoon
qadam tumhari taraf uthtay hain
bediyan dekh kar phir ruktay hain
kash tum sun sakti
meri khamosh pukar ko
tumhari aankhen lafz mangti hain
woh lafz to main nahi keh pata
woh yaqeen jo main nahi day pata
aik umeed dil main rehti hai
aagay badhnay ko kehti hai
kay aik din lafz be-mainay hongay
hum aik doosray kay aainay hongay
laikin aaj lafzon ki zaroorat hai
tumhari zaroorat aik shiddat hai
meri khamoshi woh lafz keh rahi hai
kash tum sun sakti

A wonderful episode.
Arnav trying to give Khushi a perfect birthday.
Khushi trying to get Arnav to say Happy birthday.
Anjali realises she is not the centre of chotte's world anymore.

Starts of with Anjali taking the flowers, thinking they are for her.
Arnav doesn't correct but looks at Khushi and silently apologises for giving the flowers away and Khushi acknowledges.

Payal the best sis in the world at the moment,🤗 gives Khushi a sari
NK gifts her a bangle and promises to look out for her forever like a true friend and shuts her in the room, and Khushiji does not lock the door😒
Arnie decorates the poolside with pom pom style fairy lights, hoping that Khushi likes them but all she wants is a simple happy birthday, which getting Arnav to say is next to impossible at the moment. And after lots of bickering, in typical ASR style, he forces her to cut the cake and shoves the cake down her throat.

And typically, at the right moment, in walks Anjali Di, with a big bowl of Kheer to feed her chotte.
And the bucket of tears start. Because chotte is trying to make his wife happy instead of sitting with her and lamenting for the criminal of a husband she has.😡

There was a lot of hullaballoo in the forum and twitter mess regarding this Anjali track. If we want a story we need Anjali. We can't live on Rabba Ves alone.
I personally look forward to this Anjali drama, makes Arshi more interesting with a roadblock in their relationship and how they overcome it. And i like the fact Arshi, unknowingly, rub how almost perfect their world is at the moment compared to Anjali.😈

Spice Girls Jiyon, Pranaam😊
Kshama karein, post karne mein thoda vilamb ho gaya...darasal, humko aaj ka show itna pasand aya ki hum mantra mugdh ho kar bas rewind button ka durupyog hi karte rehgaye... aur samay ki vyateet hone ka aabhaas hi na raha...😃
Ok, so much for the shudh Hindi vartalaap of the day. At the risk of sounding like a broken record...I just love them...love the story, love Khushi and Arnav...love what they do to each other...also love what they don't do to each other...love most of the people around them...well, you get the drift.
Poolside romance-ASR style, roothna-Khushi style worked majorly...the ambience was perfect, the cake droolicious and music perfect. It was wonderful to watch ODB get all worked up and lose his patience, while intrepid Khushi stood her ground...till he dragged her kicking and screaming to her birhtday cake...and then fed the piece to her...😍...no one does romance better than these two and today was no exception. As to the reason for her intransigence, it was more of his ultimatum of the night before than anything else, though of course, she was upset at not getting a simple greeting from him.
What was really endearing though, was how all her anger and miff is reserved for only Arnav, at the RM. She is sweetness personified with everyone else...and because she is so mindful of all that has happened, does not think twice before reassuring him with her eyes, when the roses misunderstanding happens with his Di. And when NK brings it up with her later, she says it in so many words that how could she be angry about something that was done to bring a smile to Di's face. With Payal and NK, she is her usual chirpy self...smiling and joking...Payal's retort to her question, "kya chupa rahi ho? '..."Tumhara sar..."...was so cute...Used to be standard response between us cousins, growing up...😊 Big 👍🏼 to the dialogue writer.
And now a word about Anjali...I share everyone's impatience towards her simply barging into Arnav's room...that was poor direction/poetic license...whichever one you choose to chalk it up to...
But despite her later self-centered spiel, or rather because of it, I continue to believe that she is deeply disturbed mentally, since the grand expose'. There is absolutely no way that the normal Anjali, the one who, inspite of being very upset at their sudden wedding, took the lead in bringing normalcy back to Khushi's life., could resent Chotte celebrating her birthday. She could not have resented this little moment of joy for him, had she not be in a frame of mind where nothing, other than the thought that her husband was a victim of Khushi's manipulations, registered. Her mind shut down at the "realisation", if we can even call it that. Not the kidnapping, not her precious Chote's life in danger, his obvious physical trauma, his sudden reappearance...nothing clicked with her. It is a case of complete selective amnesia...
So now it is all, only about her ...her pain, her misfortune, her wronged husband. Hence her appeal of the day before, to restore her life to the happier times. And today, when she sees the roses, in her mind, they could not be anything else but an attempt by people around her to make her happy. When told by Arnav that he had ordered them, it follows that he must have ordered them for her.
Anjali is a fragile person to begin with...now, with this incident,..she has tipped over the edge into some manner of dementia...and she is refusing to see things before her...and clinging to a version of reality tha is her very own. Clearly, they plan to keep her this way for some time to come...and in this avatar, she will continue to resent Khushi and will interfere in their moments in a big way. I have absolutely illusions/expectations on that score.
For today though, I thoroughly enjoyed a sincere, if awkward ODB trying to make up to spunky Khushi who refuses to play ball...and can't wait till tomorrow for the SBB scene to play out. 😊
