Ahh, the first time they made us realize where they were going to go with this story, a beautiful feeling, something that held promise of uncharted territory yet seemed so inevitable without any need for justification, there couldn't have been any other way, that scene the start that held so much promise for me as viewer, his eyes conveying the admiration, affection, reverie the effect of boy besotted with a beautiful mermaid who was somehow out oh his reach but none the less most desirable and only one to focus his attention on, so much so that the constant barrage of irritating questions from the insignificant were completely impenetrable within the space where he existed only with his dream mermaid...ahh what a scene..a such a beautiful execution...
Coming to the orchard scene, one of the most beautifully shot scene, it just seemed like you were there watching it unfold in front of your eyes, such a powerful media this one, and what an amazing use of this medium...Again losing sense of time and space he is on his admiration spree ,something pulling him making him lose control ,seeing her carefree and happy after what seemed like ages, bringing back the memories of how she really was, how time and circumstances had changes all that, for a brief moment she was the same gal who walked in with his brother charming her way and winning hearts of entire family and village, yes she was that same gal only his feelings towards her were more profound, transferred from mere admiration to object of desire and love, he had changed she was the same...time had stood still in the sense that this was the moment he had waited for and wanted to be lost in, nothing and no one could invade that space where again he existed with her alone in different place, different environment but just two of them..
