- Sanaya is the most radiant and ethereal actress my eyes have ever fell upon!
- Barun is…..*I am speechless*……He is just outstanding in his chemistry as Arnav with other people, whether its Arnav: hopelessly in love with Kushi, helplessly protective of Anjali or hilariously adaptive to Buaji!! I so loved him all through that epi!! He was making me laugh and giggle and chuckle all at the same time!
- I'll always remember Arnav's frequent "ha…ha….ha"s…..Never seen a staggered wisher like him! Kushi you will very much value it when those hard-to-spit words are finally spat out of his hot mouth in the coming episodes!
- When Buaji was doing that "nazar na lage" ritual, I wanted to laugh, "Yeah, right! Rabba VE!! Buaji, no use with that try of yours….doesn't work on Arnavji…"*wink* But I seriously hope that ritual DOES WORK against Shyam. Anyway, he won't love the betrayer anymore, and if he does return for her, it won't be for lust or love but for downright revenge.
- Nani's aarti: Arnav was like, "Nani, you do it to bless her; but if the atheist that I am does it on her, it will be because I insanely worship my wifely goddess!!"*wink*
- Did you see that scene where the spoon falls down and the two of them bend down to pick it up? Well, watch it again and you will see how Arnav/Barun deliberately puts it down. I said, Barun because that shot might be a poorly camouflaged action….and I said Arnav, because I want it to be that Arnav deliberately puts it down to try and get his wife alone (under the table) and attempt again to wish her….
- Kushi expressionlessly closing doors on his yearning-wanting face: Hmmm….Separation Track Three?
- Arnav speaking to the broken mirror. (I had to pause this scene to finish my sudden burst of laughter or I wouldn't have been able to concentrate on the rest of the epi). Indicates? Him accepting the slowly-revealing side of his hidden self…….
Just saw the Maha Epi….I know, many hours late but I was not able to see it yesterday. And I have only one word for : BRILLIANT!!
Over 45 minutes of only laughter and giggles and the best part was I was ill in bed and studying for my exams and it was during the break that I watched it. I felt so healed, so weightless and so relieved of my stress-busted mind after watching it. I so so so LOVED it.
Now the reason why I could completely love it is because I neither give in to expectations nor fall for spoilers. I detach myself from spoilers and its usually "Dickinson" from college who tells me what the latest spoilers are, which again, I choose always not to fall for. I take the show as it is. I enjoy it because I love it for what it is and not for what it should be or could be….
The epi was awesome from the start to the end and I would love to detail on each scene and tell you what makes each scene and dialogue (or smirk!) special…..but I am short of time and I just want to tell you one thing that is haunting my fanatic head.
If you ask me which was my favorite scene in the epi, I would say that the best scene of the entire epi was the last scene. Yes, this one was the richest and most significant of all the scenes:
This one scene is the preparatory echo of the track we are about to head into. This one shot capsuled the next few weeks (or months) brilliantly. Arnav is in dilemma of what to do: to be there for his lifeless Di or be there for his neglected wife….And you know what is the best part? It showed the traits of these three characters in that few seconds.
Arnav is a man who will always ALWAYS be there for his sister, not wanting to let her get hurt and trying to erase the painful memories that haunt her mind. But he also wants to be with the wife he never deserves but is destined to deserve…..
Anjali is a girl who is easily broken. Like how Rima once said, a glass doll. She can easily break and is very fragile. She must be dealt with carefully and brought back to normality with great caution especially now that she is almost not in her right senses. Anjali has still not ACCEPTED the fact that Shyam was a cheater and that all that had happened had actually happened. Which is why she keeps thinking of him, wanting him, and wondering why he is not there anymore and why she doesn't feel happy like she used to. However, did you note that her initial thought of Shyam having send the flowers is converted to gratitude for her Chotey. Now, we must understand this: she had been angry with Arnav from banishing her husband out of doors but now, concreting through that hug, she is slowly ACCEPTING her Chotey….that would mean that a little later (maybe after a long later) she will ACCEPT the "why" of Arnav banishing Shyam, that is, she will ACCEPT that Shyam was a cheater and needed to be kicked out of the family and out of Di's life. And once she accepts the "why", she will accept the innocent victim behind that "why": Kushi. This is a long process but it is sure to come, friends.
Then we saw Kushi. She is broken inside of having been spoken to so very harshly by her husband (very very harshly!!) and she is also pissed off with him (in a playful way) for being unable to say two simple words to her: Happy Birthday….
But yet, when witnessing that hug, she understands, she sees what is unseen and she knows…..
I don't have a spare precap pic with me and haven't had time to capture it but it is quite similar to another two pics, of which one is essentially striking: When Arnav hugs Lavanya in an attempt to hinder her foreign escape.
Who is the reason behind the hug? Kushi. Her words and tears.
Who is watching the hug? Kushi.
Who is Arnav centering on when IN the hug? Kushi who stands before him.
What did this hug reveal to Kushi? That she has something for Arnav.
What did this hug reveal to Arnav? That Kushi has something for him and he is affected by it mutually.
When Arnav hugs Di in the last scene.
Who is the reason behind the hug? Kushi. Her birthday flowers.
Who is watching the hug? Kushi.
Who is Arnav centering on when IN the hug? Kushi who stands before him, watching and acknowledging the hug.
And so it remains to see on Monday, what this hug will reveal to Kushi and to Anrav….I'm telling you, this hug has a lot of significance and we need to keep our eyes and hearts open! Also note that when Di hugs him, the flowers are between them. The flowers are for Kushi. They are Kushi. Just like how Di had been the reason why Arnav got Kushi and might lose her again, Kushi will be the reason why Di will find strength in Arnav and Arnav will find the strength to care for his Di. But I want you to know one very important thing: Di brought Kushi into Arnav's life, now Di appears to be distancing Kushi from Arnav but in the end it will be Di again who will join Arnav with Kushi for eternity and that is how the show will end….Mark my words, friends! Anjali is vital to the show from the beginning to the end.
