Dhruv admits to lying and says that he did mean to go to Kaali ghat and in rage even bought a gun to confront Rudra. But, when he came to senses he was so overwhelmed by guilt that he threw away his gun and reached Kaali ghaat and waited but, could see no signs of Rudra. Kavita hears about Rudra's disappearance and Niharika's claim. Police comes and announce that rudra is alive.
