Kareena Kapoor continues to make news for her impending marriage to beau Saif Ali Khan that is supposedly slated for sometime in October, this year. Sharmila Tagore though did let it slip that 16 October is the date, but neither Saif nor Kareena have confirmed the date.

In fact, the two of them have responded with cryptic answers whenever they are asked about the wedding date. But of late, the actress has been hitting headlines for her various film projects —the ones she is in, or the ones she's walked out of and the ones that suit her marital status once she weds Saif.

Regardless of the endless speculation on her personal and professional life, Kareena's been slaving day in and day out, filming Madhur Bhandarkar's most ambitious film to date, Heroine, in various parts of Mumbai. Kareena, looking absolutely stunning, was shooting at Shiva's Salon in Andheri on Wednesday. Kareena was filming only her portions in the film sans Arjun Rampal who stars alongside her in the film. Though it was raining, Kareena managed to complete the four scenes in the salon without any starry fuss or delay.

After pack up, around 6.30pm, ad filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar visited her on the sets, possibly to discuss yet another advertising campaign with the actress who endorses pretty much everything from face creams to laptops to bags and shoes. Kareena greeted him with a hug and the two conversed for a while. The director Madhur, after a long and heavy day of filming, went straight from the sets to work out in his gym.

Heroine releases on 21 September this year, which also happens to be Kareena's birthday. Heroine's filming schedule will wrap in another five days – just one song with the lead actors and three-four scenes need to be shot before the film goes into the final post-production and promotional activities.

As Madhur always says, "Heroine is Kareena's finest film", by the looks of all the paparazzi shots in our files, we are tempted to agree, even before the first teaser hits the airwaves.
